Hi Steve. That is good news. It’s great when a plan comes together. Happy new year. Cheers John from Gold Coast.

Hello Steve, have been following you and your problem. I have the same problem with my JD-310B, replaced the o-ring about 3 weeks ago and was using it to clear tree roots from our hurricane beryl we had a few weeks ago and it was idling and heard a hissing noise, looked around and oil was squirting everywhere. So back to the drawing board. You mentioned you had added shims and then blew a hyd hose, so took shims back out. Mine had 6 shim washers, so I removed 3 and just got it back together today so will crank it up in the morning while it is cooler to see what happens. Take care Steve, love your Australia as we were there a few years ago in Sydney

Could you show a video of where that long screen you said had clogged up on your machine? Is it by the leaking pressure relief valve? PTL GOD IS GOOD! Brian in the states

Hi Brian, I did a video showing where the screen is located in 2018. It was the first video I posted on TH-cam so you will find it at the start of my video list. Cheers and happy new year 🥳

Where is the oresdure valve located?

So what you had leaking what is the pressure relief valve to your loader bucket. Because mine leaks really good and you know why it would do that

Usually leakage comes from bad o rings, seals or connections. Good luck

Very good information, as I have a JD-310B with the same problem, replaced the O-rings about 3 weeks ago, and it started leaking again, same problem blown o-rings. Now to figure out what is causing the problem. I have the manuals and looks like item #5 Orifice on parts manual is behind the control valve spool itself, not sure if this is right.
