I'm just excited new people are enjoying what took us YEARS to acquire before the internet was really a resource, as a new found thing, and realizing just hot extraordinary these mixes are. Love all of this.
Man oh man, I can’t even believe my great luck to have found this here. Thank you! Since you have access to the recording, I wonder if you could find it in your heart to upload it at a higher quality... I’m sorry to ask, but this is such a treasure.
Wow...so this IS an actual CD/album? I bought a copy of this off eBay many years ago and when I got it I thought I got scammed. I paid more than I usually do for a CD (think I paid $25 or $30 for this one) because I was really into the Chemical Bros and the E-dance music scene at the time. I thought I got scammed because the artwork for this CD was exactly what you see in this video, printed on plain white paper and was just a single sheet and not a 'jacket' or 'book'. I thought it was just some mix a wannabe DJ made and tried to pass it off as an authentic CD by the Chemical Bros...lol. Now I need to go through my CD collection (oh yes, I still have/buy CDs) and find this one...
I actually have a CD copy of this rare item as wel! The CD and DIY packaging is just as you described. And this was in a popular new / used record store in Phoenix. I found it in The Chemical Brothers CD section. It was used for $12 but it was 50% off so I got it for only $6 which was nice. I know it's not an actual official Chemical Brothers release, it's not a bootleg though either, nevertheless it's like a semi-official DJ promo type of CD. Nice to know someone else has it too! Where did you purchase your copy from?
@@eyeswideopendevushka Ironic you replied to my 1+ year old message just a couple days ago as I finally spent a couple days last week going through my CD collection and re-organizing it. When I came across this CD my first thought was, "Oh yeah, this is the scam CD I bought off Ebay"...lol! Now I come back home from being at the beach all week (and not being able to log into my YT account due to Google 'security') and see your comment.
Wow! Thanks for putting this mix up. If you are familiar with D.J. John Kelley and the Funky Desert Breaks on the Moonshine label, it's very similar. Love it! Peace ✌️
This is fucking awesome 👍👍👍. I've been a fan of theirs since I first heard the album Surrender when I was a senior in high school. They are one of my favorites of any music I listen to. I've heard most of all their stuff except rare shit like this. I think this is one of the best mixes I've heard of theirs. Their new BBC Radio 1 essential mix was very good also. But this older stuff is just so great. What year is this from?
Not really that rare its actually a radio 1 session from the show pete tong did on Friday before Creamfields weekend. Still a fantastic set no matter what.
@@koncreteto2758 I have the bonus disc that came with the singles and I also have this In Glint CD promo DJ mix. Though it may sound similar in some parts, they are two entirely different recordings
Electronic Battle Weapon indeed. Brothers always work it out!
This version of It began in Africa is awesome
22.33 dropped one night, a long time ago on the radio. I was travelling 20 miles alone to collect a fare. This got my night in, made my evening 🙂
