man, that was beautifully done...
this was unquestionably the best episode of the series so far. tig held her own and went toe to toe with jeselnik for its entirety. i'm a huge fan of both and hadn't realized the similarities between their styles until this.
Yeah, the two people who held their own the best were Tig and Kristen Schaal. Which I didn't see coming.
I'm a fan of both of them, but we were watching the same show? I thought it was all awkward and not funny.

Tig only plays characters named Tig to raise awareness that that's a name some people have and I find that very brave. That community of 12 people finally has a voice and that voice sounds like a cross between a feisty old Jewish woman and a feisty old Jewish man. Powerful stuff.

What she does is not smart comedy. What daniel tosh, marc maron, or even louie are doing is smart comedy. Tig notaro is the most overrated comedian of the decade. Id even take schumer over her. You can be dumb as a rock and you would still get every joke she ever made as long as someone explained deadpan humor to you. So fucking overrated.

Jeselinik is good enough, Tig with him is higher lvl what we wanted out of a larry king or a even seinfeld, dangerously good, painfully good.
Anthony Jeselnik's smile (especially plastered on at 1:57) felt like rain in broad daylight. Unsettling. Disarming. Surreal.
I dont often see him thinking some people are truly funny, but he seems genuinely tickled by her. It makes me wonder how he went out with Amy Schumer.

She's the most genuine and authentic actor on the new Star Trek show. Everybody else is extremely melodramatic. Still like the show though. Just had to get past the show throwing a lot of the canon out the space windows.
