Becky's tutorials ,not only on the AllBrands presentations, but on her TH-cam channel , are always excellent! I'm a seasoned sewer and embroiderer and machine quilter, but I still learn new things from her! Good job Becky!
Yeah, Becky is one of the best I’ve been watching her since she started your channel in January 2019. She inspired me to act on my dream of having an embroidery machine as well as acquiring a digital cutting machine. She has really enhanced my creative life!
This was a great video and easy to follow instructions. Becky, I miss These tutorials on your channel. Best wishes always. Thank you Barbara For being such a great host.😊
Hi Becky, So happy to watch a non scan n cut show! I've missed these regular shows. I want to share that I have a camera in my machine. I use the mountain type magnet hoop. I leave the hoop on the machine, pick up the magnets, turn on the camera, shift the quilt and replace the magnets. It's very quick and perfect alignment. Thanks for all you teach.
Hi Lida! Barbara Here. I also use the projector to line up my edge to edge. I do like the DIME snap hoop for edge to edge, and the sash frame for other things It's just preference I guess. Thank you for tuning in!
Hi Barb & Becky, Margaret from South Australia. First time I have managed to catch live show. Becky gives so much info and is so funny. I often have little chuckles. Thank you for all your time & work to present these videos. Keep sewing. Cheers
Thanks for that presentation I learned so much always is nice to see Becky on her excellent work thanks to all brands and Becky I’m following you on your channel by the way is addicted in a good way! Love your channel and everything you do!
Thank you Becky for all your fantastic videos. I used this same Easter bunny and egg pattern from Designs by JuJu on a quilt and wall hanging that I used with my Babylock Solaris and the DIME magnetic hoop. Magnetic hoops are the greatest invention ever.
I love doing edge to edge on my Luminaire 3 and bought the large size Dime magnetic hoop which is wonderful! I just do the 505spray…I guess I cheat since I start a 1/4” from the edge of the quilt.
I make quilts for Project Linus (Sick Kids) U.K., and the majority of the time is just the quilt top and fleece backing. I have the Brother magnetic hoop, so I was hoping I can se the embroidery machine to do pretty quilt pattern. I also have the Stellaire XJ2.
I use a snap monster Dime 8X12 hoop . I don't use a template. I use the positioning features on my brother 6200D but sometimes I simply just drop the needle in the start stitch spot. It is easy and works well.
You said it Becky, it's all about scale. The designs for the smaller hoop are too dense for my liking, so if you have no choice in investing in a machine that allows you to use a large hoop, just be aware about the density.
I was watching your video and wondering where you are placing your sticker it didn’t look like it was at the beginning or the ending of the design. Can you explain that further?
I looked for your video "Background quilting for your embroidery machine" u mentioned here, but I only find is "Creating background quilting with the Brother Luminaire...". I have a Brother PE800 & am looking for background quilting instructions for that. Is that even a possibility w my machine. Thnk u!
I'm a novice and have a small sewing/embroidery machine. Singer Legacy SE300. I would like to know if any of the DIME Embroidery Hoops would work with my machine.
It's really a personal preference. Since edge-to-edge is essentially a straight stitched design (not a dense satin stitch group of stitches), you can use polyester or cotton top and bottom thread with no issues. I love Aurifil Cotton for edge-to-edge embroidery. Barbara.
I have a husqvaena Viking & it won't warrant my mCHINE IF i USE THE MONSTER HOOP/ i WAS SO SAD AS i HAD ALREADY ORDERED & REC'D IT BUT HAD TO RETURN IT UNOPENED

Very helpful. Thank you for the video.
I love this.
I know it's older video but very good teaching on edge to edge. Goi g to do on my Pathfinder.
Love your video!

We wont tell! That actually sounds like a good method.
#allbrands love my Dime Hoop I got from AllBrands!
Thank you for shopping with us!

That works too, you have to be sure to hoop straight if you aren't using templates to make sure it doesn't stitch at an angel. Thanks for watching!!
Thank you.

I didn’t know all brands had store front s. You should give a a video tour That would be great
I was watching your video and wondering where you are placing your sticker it didn’t look like it was at the beginning or the ending of the design. Can you explain that further?
Would love to see how you rehoop to next set
Yeah for Becky😊
Right? She's great.
Neal williams Just love to watch Beckey do her thing, will have to put a Luminaire and monster snap hoop on my wish list.
Thanks for watching!
How much extra backing to you allow for when doing ETE?
i have the 10 5/8x16 and then 10 5/8 x10 5/8. these r these 2 i use the most
I have the Stellaire xj2. Can you turn off the reinforcement stitches at the beginning and end of the edge to edge designs? Help!
Sandi From maine. My trouble lies when I get to second row

Good tutorial
Very informative
Glad it was helpful!

It's difficult with a 5X7 Embroidery machine because most files are larger than that sewing field. You will be rehooping a lot.
I'm hoping for the Stellaire 2 combo machine for my birthday/Christmas present.
Good choice! The best time to buy is from us at the Houston International Quilt Festival Nov 2-5. Best deal and package of the year.
template tearaway from dime works better than printing design out on paper
Would a Sticky Hoop work instead of a magnetic hoop ?
Thank you for a great presentation.
I wouldn't see why not, but I have not tried that. Barbara.
I sew want the Luminaire!!!
I'm a novice and have a small sewing/embroidery machine. Singer Legacy SE300. I would like to know if any of the DIME Embroidery Hoops would work with my machine.
Unfotunately it doesn't look like Dime makes any hoops for Singer machines based on their compatibility charts.
Do you use embroidery thread and embroidery bobbin thread or embroidery thread in top and bobbin or regular cotton thread?
It's really a personal preference. Since edge-to-edge is essentially a straight stitched design (not a dense satin stitch group of stitches), you can use polyester or cotton top and bottom thread with no issues. I love Aurifil Cotton for edge-to-edge embroidery. Barbara.

Watched this earlier, but forgot to ask Becky where she gets the FriXion marker. Any chance of still finding an answer to this?
Hi Julie! We just added these to AllBrands.com here: www.allbrands.com/products/106588-frixion-fxc44154-frixion-colors-bold-6pk
Hi from San Antonio
Are there magnetic hoops for a singer se3000 ?
Is the 3M paper tape micropore?
Is there any way for someone to post links to these products? I cannot find the magnetic hoops. Thanks

What is the max quilt size? It seems like even a baby blanket is too big
Great tutorial but, based on the title, I thought this was the new Edge to Edge quilting on the Luminaire 3 or Upgrade 3.
Thanks for the suggestion. The content did change right before the show, so we've updated the title.

Would this work on a Babylock Elissimo?
Yes, this method is for all models.
Is it going to leave registration marks
Hi Ann! The Stellaire 2 machines have that option.

Hi Sherry! Was that the dealer than told you that, or the manufacturer?
I have a singer futura embroidery machine the

You;re not concerned that the batting will shrink with the stiching
Hi Sherry! We have not had that happen, it would have to be pretty dense to modify the size of the batting. Barbara.
#allbrands give away
Ugh, if I knew BECKY T was on I wouldn't have wasted my time getting here.
