Wow! What I really got a kick out of was the pull up to altitude, rolling to reverse heading and snapping to rock steady level flight. That Super Hornet must be a pilots dream to fly!

I'm a Navy wife. My husband retired many moons ago, lol. He and his buddy, Donnie Cochran (of Blue Angels fame) went through OCS and flight training together. Love watching you and all you stand for! Have a very safe and blessed flight!

Alex... Looks like the Abe Lincoln this time. Nice! Love your endless cross checks, head on a swivel. Never get tired of seeing Angels' Wings, or your precision flying. Please keep your videos coming. NO commentary or music required. Your unedited videos speak volumes... You make all us old retired farts proud. Fly safe brother! :) Randy "C-17A"

I grew up watching A-4s, A-7s, A-6s, F-4s & F-14s doing training( Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility [AFWTF]) were I live. Felt the bombs dropping. But its cool now to watch on videos what I saw from the distance: take off, wave off or TAG. Thank you for all your sacrifice and endurance. God Bless You All!

This is cool. My uncle was a fighter pilot.. in the 80s. He was stationed in Okinawa and ended up in Corpus Christi. When he was LT Commander I still remember getting to check out some of the planes on base. I have pics of me at 12 in the cockpit of a plane on base. I still have his US Navy blue bomber jacket from the 80s..My son wears it now :). Cool video.

ya might want to lower the visor so you avoid getting hit in the eyes with FOD on the cat shot. We always launched visor down, clear visors at night (F14 land). My father used to pull on instruments to ensure they were anchored down. Maintainers may have missed it. (A4/AD land)

I was a jet jockey from 1974-1979. Brings back good memories. Just curious, though, about no flight gloves and flying with the visor up. My safety officer would be chewing me out for those infractions. Still have my pair of flight gloves with the ubiquitous hole in the right thumb from the trim tab button.

Same with us over here in the RAF. Mainly to protect in case of ejection/bird strikes. But it also saved the life of a mate when a peice of shrapnel came through the side of the aircraft and was stopped by the centre of his clear visor.
