Glad to have you here !! Thanks for the support. I have no idea what the end-game for this fortress will be, but I’m hoping for at least 20 years out of the fort until I figure it out.
@@YawningTigerthe bears have been a pain so far 😂 I had a raiding party disappear for 2 years because I assigned a couple of the warriors bears. I’m gonna do some more testing with them for sure
There's a ton of great guides out there for just about everything. I have a few but its before my video quality got better. I find it a bit easier to play than Rimworld, its just as advanced and complicated, just a bit less of a pain to manage. Heres a couple tips i can think of: Learn the workorder system first, set plump helmets to brew only and make sure you have a big field to plant them in, birds-predators-pigs can live underground without needing to graze, and finally make sure to have some defenses ready as soon as possible whether that be a military, trap hallway, or just locking yourself underground until the threat passes
@@kodstergames this game seem slightly larger scale in terms of people who would be under the players control. Do you control the dwarves similarly to how you control a colonist in rimworld?
More like, you assign things to be done and you have more people to do them. It’s insane how much detail is in the game and you really don’t ever have to click on it or interact with it. It’s very few times that you’ll actually click on a dwarf individually.
I have no idea 😂 I’ll have to look into it! Honestly, it doesn’t seem like the dwarves like being around the shore. There’s “waves” that travel a bit over the land and they seem to want to avoid those.
I found your channel through the 10 years video. Very well done. I was happy to see this series continue.

Same! Looking forward to seeing what will be done with all the BEARS

Just watched your 10 year vid, now ep5. You just got another sub.
Awesome! Thank you so much for the support !
Keep doing good work my dude.
Thanks !
Subscribing. I love the story telling, you have a great voice for narration. KEEP IT UP!
Thank you! You were actually subscriber 1400! So thank you for another milestone hit
i think the "few episode" then a "10 year recap" video may be the move for DF content
It's a bit easier to manage like that. Subs want content often and then the 10 year video brings new people usually. New vid out tomorrow also !
Considering picking up the game after playing a lot of rimworld any tips for playing?

You can't control dwarves as well as you can pawns in rimworld in my experience which admittedly is limited.
Sine you are on ocean shore, can grow sea weed or sea grass or mangrove trees or kelp? Clams or crab farms?
