ive watched soo many of these '100 years of _' videos, and i SWEAR that the 60s are slowly returning... who agrees?
the 60s already came back. in the next years the 80s will probable make a comeback (I don't know why am I "predicting" that but it is quite possible) and after that the 00s will make a comeback.
It looks to me like the 60s have been back since the mid-90s (which unfortunately are also back, just saw cutoff overalls in the juniors department....ugh) but it depends on the mood, for lack of a better word, of the times. Pretty chaotic decade, lots of transitions, so the fashion industry seems to swing back and forth between Hippies and Mad Men for their influences.

I don't remember anyone having purses like that in 2006. They were mostly slouch bags or purses with logos all over them e.g. Louis Vuitton, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, etc.
All the women in my family had that bag in 2000's. My mother put it in a garbage at 2009 but I think my aunt's is still at her wardrobe.

Somebody needs to use those 1916 & 1926 designs for backpacks. Imagine using those as a backpack, but obviously a bigger size and not as a handbag but as a backpack. Idk I think it could be a Trend. Those designs look like rucksack backpacks. I love a good rucksack when I'm going places. So it'd be a nice design. Just a thought, but I'm pretty sure I'm alone on this idea. Lol

I love the 1916 purse! It's so elegant!
The bag from 1946 is so classy, elegant and fabulous! It remind me of the France's Ophera. The one from 1956 is gorgeous! It's not big, but it sure does fit for a Glamour kind of party. The 1966 bag is delicate and sophisticated, but still good for jeans and beach clothes. The 1986 bag is on my type. Not too big, not too small, not too fancy, yet still beautiful and unique. The bag from 1996 is so damn attractive. I think that this bag will never go out from trend.

I have that 2016 Celine luggage bag. Love the design! Downside - it can be quite heavy if you put too much stuff inside. Sad that the design had been discontinued. Thought it could have been a trademark design for the brand =/

I have the 90s style bag, and I love it, and I also have the 2016's color, but also in leather. However, I have a lot of handbags, I also love messengers bags. They call them... they're actually starting to make a comeback.

The Spice Girls weren't popular until the late 90's anyway. Like 1997/98. By that time Grunge was pretty dead.

Don't try and use that for a valid answer. Second, there will be no chill in this. So prepare yourself, but who cares right. In a real argument the person won't try and warn you. Anyways. Let us do this.
Sense of fashion means nothing more than the style a person wants. If having a sense of style means inconvenience to even use something meant to be a holder. Than yes, having an over size bag that cups under your armpit that might slip off your shoulders any second is fashionable. But I won't use it, why? Because I like vintage and pin up. The natural look of the Victorian era. I actually want something that is functional. Just because something is marketed as popular doesn't mean it's a good brand. It how companies like Gucci and Forever 21 get so many gullible people wearing their stuff.
Style is what ever you want it to be. If you really knew fashion, aka people like me. Then you would know and I quote "People who believe what the media says. Are people who think they have style. It's just a bases of fashion people use to make an excuse. To "fit in". Real knowledge of fashion means you know your stuff and you work it. No matter what people say. that's why we even have popular name brand items known as fashion of that year." A quote from my professor. Saying someone having no knowledge of fashion is like saying a child has no knowledge of crayons because the media likes blue and they like green.

That Fendi perfume!!!! I haven't been able to find it in years, sadly i think it was discontinued but it is the best perfume of all time, in my opinion

I really enjoyed the era that reminded me of my family! The 60s -- my Grandmother, for sure, so fun to see that style! The 80s -- I thought "If there isn't a rabbit's foot then they didn't do the proper research and...there it was! Reminded me of my aunts and when I would rifle through their bags when I was a kid. 2006 I was 30 and carried all of those things in a Guess handbag like the one they showed. All in all, a great video! 5 stars! (old TH-cam rating reference 😉)
