1916- so glamorous! The sunglasses were great until the 90s.. Thankfully 2016 stuff isn't too bad.. 😊 love your fashion throughout the years videos! Thanks!
the 60s already came back. in the next years the 80s will probable make a comeback (I don't know why am I "predicting" that but it is quite possible) and after that the 00s will make a comeback.
It looks to me like the 60s have been back since the mid-90s (which unfortunately are also back, just saw cutoff overalls in the juniors department....ugh) but it depends on the mood, for lack of a better word, of the times. Pretty chaotic decade, lots of transitions, so the fashion industry seems to swing back and forth between Hippies and Mad Men for their influences.
I don't remember anyone having purses like that in 2006. They were mostly slouch bags or purses with logos all over them e.g. Louis Vuitton, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, etc.
The bag from 1946 is so classy, elegant and fabulous! It remind me of the France's Ophera. The one from 1956 is gorgeous! It's not big, but it sure does fit for a Glamour kind of party. The 1966 bag is delicate and sophisticated, but still good for jeans and beach clothes. The 1986 bag is on my type. Not too big, not too small, not too fancy, yet still beautiful and unique. The bag from 1996 is so damn attractive. I think that this bag will never go out from trend.
***** Also, dave started the foo fighters in 1994 and was touring in 1996 as for krist he was having a break after kurt died. So no you didn't see them in 1996.
Somebody needs to use those 1916 & 1926 designs for backpacks. Imagine using those as a backpack, but obviously a bigger size and not as a handbag but as a backpack. Idk I think it could be a Trend. Those designs look like rucksack backpacks. I love a good rucksack when I'm going places. So it'd be a nice design. Just a thought, but I'm pretty sure I'm alone on this idea. Lol
I have that 2016 Celine luggage bag. Love the design! Downside - it can be quite heavy if you put too much stuff inside. Sad that the design had been discontinued. Thought it could have been a trademark design for the brand =/

It has... - car key with fluffy keychain - Film strips and Kodalux slides - colorful hairbands - lighter - Maybe hanky sealed with plastic foil - badges - Walkman - Casette (Whitney Houtson album) - hair brush?
Thanks for the update on the book. I forgot the 60s too! I'll update that the 80s. The plastic sealed handky is a nail file with a cover so it doesn't scratch stuff and that's a comb or brush at the end - it's likely a teasing/backcombing one for 80s hair looks. They were also important for 60s hair looks.
That Fendi perfume!!!! I haven't been able to find it in years, sadly i think it was discontinued but it is the best perfume of all time, in my opinion
I have the 90s style bag, and I love it, and I also have the 2016's color, but also in leather. However, I have a lot of handbags, I also love messengers bags. They call them... they're actually starting to make a comeback.

"No nothing about fashion" that's a dumb statement. Get this before I continue, I know I should have looked away if I dislike this comment. But I choice to do this, so in this argument. Don't try and use that for a valid answer. Second, there will be no chill in this. So prepare yourself, but who cares right. In a real argument the person won't try and warn you. Anyways. Let us do this. Sense of fashion means nothing more than the style a person wants. If having a sense of style means inconvenience to even use something meant to be a holder. Than yes, having an over size bag that cups under your armpit that might slip off your shoulders any second is fashionable. But I won't use it, why? Because I like vintage and pin up. The natural look of the Victorian era. I actually want something that is functional. Just because something is marketed as popular doesn't mean it's a good brand. It how companies like Gucci and Forever 21 get so many gullible people wearing their stuff.
Style is what ever you want it to be. If you really knew fashion, aka people like me. Then you would know and I quote "People who believe what the media says. Are people who think they have style. It's just a bases of fashion people use to make an excuse. To "fit in". Real knowledge of fashion means you know your stuff and you work it. No matter what people say. that's why we even have popular name brand items known as fashion of that year." A quote from my professor. Saying someone having no knowledge of fashion is like saying a child has no knowledge of crayons because the media likes blue and they like green.
+なむKristine, Duongむた “Daae” okay then haha. All I meant was that the person probably wasn't aware of the fact that that Celine bag is very on trend at the moment so it's kind of funny to me for someone to think it's horrible.
Well alright, I'm just making my point clear. I guess I took your wording harsher than I should be. Though to be honest, those trending bags are so ugly. A beach bag is more comfortable. I have a few, have me armpit rashes
I was more fascinated with what women carried in their bags then the bag itself. lol it was like watching the ultimate "What's in m handbag?" tag video lol
I really enjoyed the era that reminded me of my family! The 60s -- my Grandmother, for sure, so fun to see that style! The 80s -- I thought "If there isn't a rabbit's foot then they didn't do the proper research and...there it was! Reminded me of my aunts and when I would rifle through their bags when I was a kid. 2006 I was 30 and carried all of those things in a Guess handbag like the one they showed. All in all, a great video! 5 stars! (old TH-cam rating reference 😉)
At 1:32 what are the items above the photo negative strips? I know what photo negatives look like from my own childhood but I don't know what the mini frames are?
the 1956 bag was cute
It's made from lucite. They are very fragile and expensive.
Everything about your profile is amazing xD
Yeah, i love that bag😍
Me too ^_^ my favorite one.

I loved the 1916 bag. It was gorgeous!
Yay, somebody else who liked that one too lol
Yes! I really loved it. I actually want one now.

Julia Blue l
Julia Blue same
2006 looks like a bag designer had a banana for lunch, looked at it and just thought "... Yes."
its actually called a baguette bag
I LOVE how they show what's inside the bag and how it pertains to each era!!
I think we can all agree that 2006 was a bad time for the bags
I saw it and I thought, what they hell could that thing even carry?
+Emma regrets...and bad decisions
+Oliver Holmes lol!
OMG yes! 😂😂😂
2016 is too ugly too
I'm really fascinated with 50's

1916- so glamorous! The sunglasses were great until the 90s.. Thankfully 2016 stuff isn't too bad.. 😊 love your fashion throughout the years videos! Thanks!

ive watched soo many of these '100 years of _' videos, and i SWEAR that the 60s are slowly returning... who agrees?

Bogi Kasza maybe in your country but in america the colors have been nude and neutral and dark
Phil's Eyelash Expecially the eye makeup ...
I don't think so. Fashion is getting uglier, not prettier.
1916, 1956 and 2016 are my favourites !!! Especially 1916 !!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love the 1916 purse! It's so elegant!
Am I the only one who thinks that the 1916 bag is EVERYTHING?! XD
I love that you included what was typically inside the purse at the time, as well👍
I don't remember anyone having purses like that in 2006. They were mostly slouch bags or purses with logos all over them e.g. Louis Vuitton, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, etc.
All the women in my family had that bag in 2000's. My mother put it in a garbage at 2009 but I think my aunt's is still at her wardrobe.
Cihan Akgöz Would you consider them fashionable American women?
My mother and my aunts are. But my sister is kinda medieval-lover.
Or anything from those exact designers in multi-colored monogram lol
Right?? Or the Burberry design. I think that's the only era they got wrong in this vid
That 1966 And 1916 👜is so beautiful 😍
Peaceful Chorus i only liked for the 1916 cuz its soooo asmr beautiful
The bag from 1946 is so classy, elegant and fabulous! It remind me of the France's Ophera. The one from 1956 is gorgeous! It's not big, but it sure does fit for a Glamour kind of party. I love the 2016 one
+Cali Marie I don't know I was going to change it but I was too lazy!! Plus I love zendaya
can u tell me the name of song from 2006 to 2016? Please)
Ariana Scarlett The 2016 bag looks like a Celine
omg i have a versace bag from the 90s similar to the one from the 90s bag!!
Who else saw that Nirvana ticket for the 90's? lol
nirvana wasn't still a band in 1996
yes
***** kurt died in 1994
***** Also, dave started the foo fighters in 1994 and was touring in 1996 as for krist he was having a break after kurt died. So no you didn't see them in 1996.

Somebody needs to use those 1916 & 1926 designs for backpacks. Imagine using those as a backpack, but obviously a bigger size and not as a handbag but as a backpack. Idk I think it could be a Trend. Loveisfun123 a fucking genius you are
The 1920’s is my favorite. Like the cabin decoration and the river next to it and stuff
I’m trying to start fashion design and making things to sell myself. I’ll remember those two as backpack designs.
I absolutely love the attention to detail here! Great job as always!
I absolutely loved the 1966 and 1976 bags 😍😍😍😍😍😍 but that 2016 bag is life & the headphones I need. Love it !
felt the exact same way about those purses!
They're beautiful !
i have them they sell them at walmart cheap lol but they break easy (but that wasnot a surprise)
TaiLand ik I luv ur era but I luv the styles of da 70s and 80s
Love the roach clip from the 70’s bag!
1956 and 1966 are really creative . I love it ❤️❤️
100 years of women's footwear in history. Please press THUMB UP if you agree!
yes, and men
That Versace bag from the 90s, just fabulous
Spot on for 2006! Exactly what I had in my purse when I was 22.
Same here everytime I see the one from 2006 I think back when your phone music player and camera weren't one thing
I'm already obsessed with the 40's, that bag made a little more obsessed.
I have that 2016 Celine luggage bag. Love the design! Downside - it can be quite heavy if you put too much stuff inside. Sad that the design had been discontinued. Thought it could have been a trademark design for the brand =/
I have quite a few Enid Collins purses! I LOVE those styles!
I loved the 1916, 1956, and 1986 bags. Also, may I ask... what on earth is the 2006 bag?
There is a reason I love everything 80's and the Versace 90's bag just took my breathe away.
This was pretty cool
1916's bag was beautiful! I wish we would go back to that style
Can we have 100 years of prom dresses? That would be great.
I love gadgets of before 1980's :) so original !!!
That 2016 bag lookin' fine, but imagine in 10 years -in 2026 maybe we will cringe at it like we are cringin at the 2006 bag😅
i loved every era.... it tells a story with all the items of the bag
that awkward moment when the 2016 bag looks exactly like yours and has all the same stuff it in......down to the phone case and everything

Only 1 dislike! Proves how spot on this video is.
1916 was absolutely beautiful... so well Made!
2016 should be a Michael Kors Jet Set bag
Ikr
Eleanor Bowen wtf no 😂😂
Celine is much more common than Michael Kors. Michael Kors is a little trashy with they huge flashy MK key ring
Yeah I dont like Mk either but MK is much more common than celine even it looks ugly or cheap.
That 80's bag is amazing, oh my god!
Hahaha I had that exact Olympus camera in 2006!! Sadly it broke, it took amazing pics.
1966 is my favorite, I like the simple bright colors, flower(s), and swirls!
I love the 1926 one
That Fendi perfume!!!! I haven't been able to find it in years, sadly i think it was discontinued but it is the best perfume of all time, in my opinion
I think it's Fendi Donna? I just googled it online and it's sold for around £100 for a bottle for discontinued stock.
TBH I wanna live in the 90s era. Like 😍
early 2000s and 90s are pretty similar...lol
I have the 90s style bag, and I love it, and I also have the 2016's color, but also in leather. However, I have a lot of handbags, I also love messengers bags. They call them... they're actually starting to make a comeback.
thanks for showing what's inside those bags!
In the Seventies purse was she carrying a roach clip?
Lol yep!
I thought it was a clip for her hair
Oh No, That was definitely a clip for letting her hair down.😎
Yeah, but they were also used for your hair back in the day. Although, it was the 70's so I'm sure it was for what you think it was for. :)
Can I ask what roach clips are?
I like the first one. It has an cute handmade feeling.
These are all so general and stereotypical tbh and I'm sorry but if you liked the spice girls in the 90s odds are you wouldn't have a ticket to go see Nirvana because they're completely different types of music
Why not? I was a teen in the 90s and I liked all sorts of music, including those two. My favourites were The Beatles and Green Day, though.
The Spice Girls weren't popular until the late 90's anyway. Like 1997/98. By that time Grunge was pretty dead.
Courtney Murdoch one person can like several types of music believe it or not.
You gotta admit, the idea of a woman wearing a Versace bag and a Spice Girls lanyard to a grunge concert is pretty amusing.
love the 80s and 2006 one :):):):)
...The last two... seemed... off...
WHO HAS A RANDOM TAZO TEA BAG IN THEIR PURSE?!?!
Ohh so that was, I was wondering
I like how they added all of the accessories and stuff.
2016 Birkin era
Nice video! And the detail about the presentation card of MODE, is amazing.
The 90's and 2016
1966 was my favorite, love the showing of the content in all the bags
2000s are always the worst.. I wish we all could forget that period
I absolutely adore the gloves used in this video! 😍
Nothing can escape the 80s
The 1986 purse and contents deserved way more time. It was the most interesting to me.
im sorry but the 2016 purse was horrible
you obviously know nothing about fashion

that celine purse thooo 💖 maybe in like grey but still gorg!
That's the tasteless most vulgar pick the absolute worst of every era... eeeeewwww
always loved the 90's
The 1966 sunglasses were soooo darling!
My favorite was the 1956 bag, but I also love the 1966s bag as well. Both bags too cute❤.
the 50's bag is gorgeous
love the shades from 1956 as well
1966 bag looks really nice 😍
The bag from the 60s was one of my favourites
I love the windmill bag!
I loved it 1916, 1966 and 2006.♥️
1916 was so pretty and elegant, I would love to have that bag!
I was more fascinated with what women carried in their bags then the bag itself. lol it was like watching the ultimate "What's in m handbag?" tag video lol

1916 and 1956 were just gorgeous !!

I want them ALL! Thumbs up, Glam! This was a super cute video and I loved it!
I love the 1916's, 1946's, 1956's, 1996's, 2006's and 2016's versions!
please do 100 years of makeup style 😉
I loved all of these purses, but that Celine at the end tho 😍👌🏼
Oh the lucite bags never fail to impress me I loved 1956
I kind of love the 1966 bag, it's cute
1966 & 1996 are my favorites! Can someone tell me the brands?
Well... 96' is Versace.
Enid Collins bag
the first its so amazing ♡
The versace bag was awesome
