This is far cry is unique because it has a Uzi Which is my favorite sub machine gun in other video games and it nevered returns in the other far cry games
Ik I am a bit late, but instead of doing hundreds of assassination missions for unlocking guns, you can download a save file where all weapons are already unlocked after prologue.
It was, Fire physics, gun degradation, vehicular wear. Day and night cycles affecting vision ranges, fire propagation, the brutal healing animations.. The real life feeling of helplessness and insanity after fighting through 12 checkpoints per mission. The insanity and perverse mindset of every antagonist, protagonist etc of the game. All the horrible thing--- I liked the game.
@@VitutNekruistaI thought it was too make the animations of the working parts movement and ejection of rounds more visible and visually appealing, but if you are a fan of firearms then it does the opposite. It's quite common in games around this time like battlefield bad company 2 and counter strike
There's really no problem with copyright infringements when it comes to guns in video games, there's a whole lot of other fps games that model their firearms correctly and don't really run into much problems aside from a rare case of maybe a manufacturer's name being used. There's a few theories as to why the developers of Farcry 2 put the ports/charging handles/bolts on the wrong sides of their guns, but the one theory that sticks out to me personally is that Ubisoft wanted players to see their new, fancy and high quality (for 2008 at least) empty brass casings eject out in front of the screen. As of right now, there's unfortunately no mods even 15 years after the release of Farcry 2 that have remodeled or reskinned the weapons in-game.
Never mind the M1903 reload. The Milkor MGL reload is just lol. It's fine that the game limits the cylinder to 4 rounds, but slowly and painfully yanking the whole thing out and popping a new one in? C'mon.
Ah gross are all these homes altered cause I’m pretty sure the devs made the bolts and the part where casings eject are all shifted to the left side instead of the right.
A question what is the best far cry game for xbox360 some have recommended me the 3 and 4 and a cousin told me not to buy the far cray 2 I don't know if that game is worth buying or just buy the far cry three and four

@@user-ci8fb5qi2q Yup , in Farcry 2 guns were "mirrored". Basically their ejection ports and charging handles are on opposite side. In real life Ak47's charging handle is in right side but in Farcry 2 it's on the left.

At first you'll find it quite strange, especially if you've played other games in the Farcry saga, but at some point you'll get used to it.
Download the realism+ redux mod. It greatly improves the game

Anyone think it’s weird how the Gustav became a homing rocket when you aimed down sights even though it’s technically a giant gun?
Ubisoft borked the Gustav big time. It should be functioning like a shoulder-fired tank cannon basically, not try to copy the RPG from HL1.
