One huge issue is this is not at at north-south. If it was truly set, Northern Africa, Mexico, almost all of Asia, and Central America would all be north
the problem with this map is that North and South America are put up way too far north

This isn’t even a fair fight. The south has the numbers but not the technology and weapons to back it. The north has more weapons and technology, but not a big enough population. So really if it was all about numbers the south would win, but as we all know it’s all about who has the most technology, so it’s clear that the north wins.

The war at the beginning was a very even situation even going in the norths side because of technology but as the technology started to catch up their superior numbers were far too much for the north and it made quite a bit of sense although instability in the south would've made a real situation easily won for the north as lots of southern troops would have to deal with instability that would only get worse throughout the war
