Very picturesque town, not been for years but remember the restaurants lining the waterfront, back in the day of course the ferry (Stena Sealink then) docked in the town centre. Great video here guys!
@@simonford5819 aww thank you, I do remember the Stenna ferry but we never got around to going on it, in fact this was our first time there, I am sure we will go again sometime though. Despite a bit of rain at the end, it was a lovely trip. Thanks for taking the time to comment :-)
"What they serve in a Crappery?". This is a "créperie" and they serve crèpes sort of wheat Pancakes with vegetables, pork, beef, chicken, cheese. Dessert is with flour crèmes with sugary "garniture" like Apples, Pears, etc and they can be topped with burning Calvados. Apple cider to drink.
Good video. We went as foot passengers the other week as we live up the coast the other side of Newhaven to you. Lovely place. Went to Cafe des Tribuneaux like you did, and can also recommend Tout va Bien to eat. Will book at hotel local to where yours was next time, as we had a hot hour walk to ours 😂 Drank far too much Leffe Blonde over the two days. Will look up those places to ate and drank in next time too.
Thanks Ollie, yes it was a fun trip. We had an hours walk to get to that seafront hotel in the end as there was a fake entry in Google Maps that took us miles away, we think it was some kind of scam to get tourists up into a dodgy estate. The actual hotel was really good and very well placed in the end. The Cambridge Pub was great. i’m sure we will go back sometime, although it’s taken 20 years for us to get round to this trip :-)
Have you been?

Great video been wanting to return to Dieppe for some years, subscribed, cheers
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I didn't know that route was still going, I went on it when I was 17 with a mate on the back of his Honda 250 to Paris. Those were the days....
Good video. What month did you travel.?
Thank you, we went at Easter, which was early April.
Wonder what they serve in a Crappery?!? 😂😂 Anyways, very nice and informative travel vlog. Thank you so much!

How long does the ferry take?
It’s about 4 hours.
Ahh Dieppe; where the Renault Alpine's are built 😊
