- Marine Lance Corporal David Lee Espinoza was killed in the Kabul airport bombing in late August. Today, his remains are returning home to South Texas.

I am so overwhelmed by all the love and support from Laredoans and visitors who came and lined the streets with our flag and determination to welcome our Marine home. This was very moving. As a Laredoan I am so appreciative of all who came and for those who could not were there in prayer and/or thought.

Why the Kalitta Charters? Shouldn't they use regular military aircraft? It's not like the government is short of planes!
Kalitta Charters has three of these falcon 20s that they have specifically designed and had built to transport our fallen soldiers. Connie Kalitta (World famous championship drag racer) Has a multitude of aircraft that he specifically leases to the government to transport soldiers and cargo and built these planes for this specific purpose. They can transport to caskets at a time and are capable of landing in very small airports. He charges nothing to the government or to the families for this service. The company has over 150 pilots And it is an honor to them to get to fly these mercy missions. When he recently sold his company hey stipulations was made that's the Mercy flight program would remain as it is. He is truly an unsung hero for doing this

The poor leadership in D.C. considering the Afghanistan War started with GW Bush. The Afghanistan started out as a legitimate war. bin Laden and Al Qaeda were responsible for 9/11. GW Bush did good with starting the Afghanistan War as the Taliban was responsible for harboring bin Laden and Al Qaeda. Then Bush took troops and equipment from Afghanistan and bound for Afghanistan and sent them to the Bush lie-based Iraq War. The Afghanistan War became a 20 year failed war. Trump made an agreement with the Taliban to end the war. All Biden did was to end the war that Trump agreed to. It was a horrible end to the war as a suicide bomber took out 13 U.S. troops. No war ends well! What did Biden do other to end a failed war? How many U.S. troops lives have been saved since the Afghanistan War is over? I am a Vietnam Veteran. That war didn't end so well either. But put the blame on GW Bush who lied about Iraq and created the 20 year Afghanistan failed war!

This is sad,my heart goes out to his family,This bring back so much sadness for me when I received a call from the Marine 10-9-2020 my son suffered a stroke in Japan were he was stationed,the pain I felt the tears I cried.Sitting on a flight to San Diego for 5hours to see my son landing,words could not explain,I felt the same pain for those 13 Young Marines,the sacrifice our sons&daughter made for this country is beyond words,my son is doing well in rehab.I mourn with those mom,I cried with them,my deepest condolences to my military families🙏💞💞

Prayers for his familia’ As he was there, my son was on way home to San Antonio Texas from deployment from Middle East region when some of his marine brothers were still on MUE. Thanks for his service that it’s hard for them to sacrifice while political parties Christmas holidays parties with relatives while our love’s serving our country overseas like Somalia where my son was doing same as Afghanistan. This could be avoided if Americans would start evacuation way earlier than scheduled. Sadly we fallen into the hands of a evil rebel terrorist gang. No Marine should have died for saving others then American military and civilian.
