This was easily one of the simplest, and most entertaining tutorial vids I've seen in a while- that was a fun level of energy, and I honestly laughed a few times along the way. XD
@@SwagMush And I definitely did, it was really fun! A lot of tutorials are either informative and dry, or don't include everything you need to know, so you're either bored, and having to follow it step by step, or having to look something up anyway- and this addressed things in such a clear, fun way, I'm still thinking about it. XD Ironically enough, I have a Linux system- a Steam Deck- that I'm getting this set up on, and it was as easy as pie! I'm just, not sure which directories to put character mods in. I've had experience with putting the right files in the wrong places in the past, and I'm worried I'll mess something up if I don't do this right. In general, where do you put character mods?
Accidentally deleted my comment: how do I get my n64 controller to work? The x360ce and Xoutout are clearly Xbox360 controller by default and it messes up my controller configuration in the game. Solutions?
Just a fun fact. Its not "technically" illegal to download a ROM of a game you've legally purchased already. Its just illegal to distribute. And basic question that I'm assuming I know the answer to. Does everyone in the lobby need to have the same character mods installed, or can a client join a host with a random character mod, and the host just sees them as a default model?
I think i explaiend this. Only the host needs to activate mods. Everyone else gets the same mods when they join because they automatically download (but only for that session. If that person wanted to host later on theyd have to download the mods). But the client DOESNT need the hosts mods pre installed to join But Thanks for asking
@phillip_turner Unfortunately, most likely no. I can't say I've read through all the terms and conditions, but more that likely, you only have rights to the subscription service while they last, the service doesn't actually provide the ROM, so you don't really own it, you only gain access to their emulator library. If you read through the Terms and conditions, maybe it says different, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
If u have an unzip program that puts your unzip files in a folder. Theres a chance your mod is in 2 folders 📂 and coop dx cant read it. Make sure that when you put the mod in the mod folder. Clicking on that individual mod's folder, will have the stuff inside
