These short tinkering videos are great. Very informative and interesting so it does test one’s attention span. I would post your installation video and mention your concerns over the control panel. Keep posting!
Hi Noorman. Thanks. I find it better for me to make videos covering a few subjects at the same time. Also keep them short and simple. I will edit that fan video soon. Thanks Phil.👍🙂
Good video. I would like to see the fan fitting. We stay in the Uk with the caravan but we are having some summer when a fan may help so I may fit one. Stay well James
I've never taken a car nor a caravan in for service or any warranty work without giving it a thorough valet first. Similarly, I've always emptied the lockers to ensure that the damp checks are done properly too 😊
I, too, had the Dometic fridge fan fitted. It worked but then became unstuck from the fridge back and dropped down. I can remove it but it's impossible to reattach without disconnecting the fridge and moving it forward. Your video of fitting the alternative system would really be a great help. Regards, Barry.
Hi Phil, Some good tips 👍. Gail swears by HG mould cleaner and has used the cotton bud / artist paintbrush method for tile grout and sealant. I need to get myself a spare breakaway cable - you’ve just prompted me 😁. Cheers, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Rob n Gail. HG is good stuff you just have to careful with it. We use it the shower for the tiles etc. I use the hooked version as a spare. Thanks Phil.🙂👍
Shhh I film them during the week😂. Yes she does put up with a lot, but to be fair she does come up with some of the video ideas. My Creative Director. Thanks Phil.👍🙂
Thanks for the video I am always screwing bits back on build quality is rubbish I was a Toolmaker and designer and I look at some of the bits on my caravan and just despair
Great video. You always cover stuff others don’t. I think you were looking for ideas…could you possibly get hold of an old Reich Vector tap like Swift ones from a dealer and show us once and for all how you change the cartridge? People keep saying it’s on you tube but invariable other makes. Just an idea? !!
Hi Jez. I have no doubt one my taps will bugger up soon and there will be a video. No dealer will give away their products🙄. I do agree I have not seen a suitable one yet. Thanks Phil.👍🙂
Really useful video as ever Phil. I've always wondered how the breakaway works so thank you 👍 Kettle wise, when I'm on EHU (which is always...) I use a low voltage electric kettle (I think it was B&M?)
Hi we have an older Swift sprite 2014 and struggling to find replacement wallboard. You wouldn't happen to know the name of the wallboard pattern in your caravan as looks the same as I have. Thank you. We are new to owning a caravan and find your videos really helpful. Thanks Gillian
Hi Gillian. Thanks for watching. The wall board in my van is a resin compound I am guessing yours is the same or similar. May I suggest you contact KTG caravans. They may have some wall board in stock. I don’t know the name of mine. You could also try a swift dealership. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Phil 👍🙂
Really enjoy your tinkering videos, always gives me lots of ideas! 😄 Do you have a link to the stickers you use to cover the screws/holes as I have a few I need to hide?
Hi Phil staples to secure runners just done for quickness, a couple of dabs of pva when being assembled at the factory would have made a better job. Build quality isn’t what it was. Good video, sorry can’t help with fridge 🥲

Great Video, I’ve subscribed 👌 keep up the great work.
Hi Tony. Welcome we have loads of videos that may help. Many Thanks Phil.🙂👍

Hi Martin. Thanks for watching. I prefer a hob kettle as the water heats up quick. I like my Brew quickly😂. Thanks again Phil.
Cheers Phil 👍👍.

Hi Colin. Yes build quality is not what it was. I have lost count of how many parts I have had to replace staples for screws. Many Thanks Phil.🙂👍
