Thank you for this wonderful video and very much useful tips!
Of course! I'm so glad you found it helpful :)
Great video!!! I used to buy equate brand dry shampoo for brunettes but with inflation I can’t afford it anymore and it also is bad for us, even the smell is bad. Time to follow this recipe!
I hope you love it! To make my recipe more affordable too, you can feel free to skip the bentonite clay. That ingredient it totally optional :)
Same here! It’s gotten so pricey!!
I’m interested in trying this with rice starch which I noticed is in my preferred dry shampoos.
@@carolyn1580 ohh I’ve never even heard of rice starch. I’d love to hear how it turns out!
Love this recipe, especially the incorporation of the clay powder because the clay powder actually cleans the scalp.
Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much!
Could I use activated charcoal powder instead of coco power? I have pretty dark hair.
You definitely could do that. I've noticed that the activated charcoal makes the dry shampoo more of a gray color when it's by itself, so you might want to do cocoa powder and activated charcoal together and see how that works for you!
@@thesimplehomeplace Of course if you have or like grey hair, the charcoal could be quite desirable.
How many days do you typically keep this in your hair before washing? I am trying to stop washing my hair daily and am hoping I could keep this in for 3 days before washing.
I usually keep it in for a couple days and reapply as needed, but it's really up to you and what feels good for you.
Thank you so much 🙏
This recipe how long does this last before you need to make more? Weeks? Months?
@@brendasanford6133 it depends on how often you use it. I use mine 1-2 times a week and it’s lasted me over a year and I’m still not out!
Thank you!
i am indian and my age is 14 can i use this i am facing severe hairfall does it will cause more hairfall
I'm sorry you're facing that. This will not cause more hair loss.
It helps to only use a detangling (wide spaced) comb.
@@adrianjohnson7920also a boar bristle brush is good with detangling, distributing oils throughout the hair and helps stimulate a healthy scalp and healthy hair overall.
Is arrowroot better than cornstarch based on your experience?
Honestly, no. I think both work great, it's just your preference on what ingredients you want to use on your hair.
Thanks 🎉that was great help!!❤
Thank you, I'm glad :)
Love it❤
Thank you!
does the cocoa powder attract ants?
