    I broke the front chest supports when i crashed . I emailed atlas air and they sent me replacements that i could not find anywhere . All free of cost, by far one of the best companies with great customer service

    I've struggled with what to think about neck braces. My first instinct was YES. I like it in theory, and it just makes sense. I couldn't understand why more pros weren't wearing them. Then I've noticed that more and more pros have opted to not use them. Then you hear Ryno going on and on, passionately against them. Even when I have my doubts about them, I think about Villopoto. He achieved everything there is to achieve, and he ALWAYS wore an Atlas neck brace. It didn't prevent him from doing what he did.

      Tour De France cyclists doesn't wear protection, because they want to win.
      But wearing protective gear is no brainer. Neck brace may increase breaks collar bone, but better than neck.

      @@noformstyle and this is not true at all. It does NOT increase the possibility of breaking your collar bone ot reduces the risk of doing so

    Hey Chase, i watched the "Best Motocross Neck Braces | 2019", and this one. You mentioned that you have the Leatt 5.5. Which if these 2 do you like the most, the 5.5 or the Air, and why? Thanks in advance. Kind regards.

      Hi Khan, thanks for the question. There are both good braces, but I find myself using the Atlas more than the Leatt. They're both really good but I don't like the straps all that much on the leatt. The fit on the leatt is really good, just not the straps. The Atlas takes the slight edge in my book. Can't go wrong with either one.-Chase

    I bought the leatt 5.5 and I couldn’t pull my helmet all the way down. 0 clearance

    Hi, just bought one atlas neckbrace, and doesn't fit that well with my polisport phantom chest protector, which would be the best roost deflector to fit with this neckbrace ?

  • @defecationzen
    @defecationzen 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    if it's low profile and does not interfere with your range of motion then the question is will it do enough to help your neck out in the event of an accident? i suppose the next bunch of studies will have to deal with how tall a neck brace ought to be in relation to the distance of its top to a helmet's base in order to maximize protection.

    • @basketball7677
      @basketball7677 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think as long as it stops your neck from going past it's natural range of motion it should be doing something

      Atlas all the way. Leatt affects one's technique considerably, especially in the attack position or at the bottom of the whoops. We did a test with my son's coaches and between Leatt and Atlas. Atlas wins hands down. Better technique = more control = less crashes.

    Chase is the neck brace supposed to be worn under the a10 protector or outside they both look wrong to me i got the atlas neck brace i tryed tucking the front in and the back out i took the plastic on the back out and the one in the front out to im lost help me out if u can i want to keep it i just want it right

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the A10, the neck brace is designed to be worn over the top of it. What is it that looks "wrong" to you? It might just take some getting used to. Of you can take some pictures and send them to me on IG and I can take a look and see what I think. - Chase

      Thanks Chase, I got the Fox chest protector and Atlas brace and fits great. My next question is what strap system do you use cuz the Atlas one is a little bit of a pain and I noticed you're wearing what looks like the Alpinestars X-brace. I thought I saw you say somewhere you like the Alpinestars brace better but which one. I can't find the X-brace anywhere for purchase.

    Does it fit with the Alpinestars Bionic Tech Jacket? THX

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sure it would fit just fine. The Atlas usually fits well with most roost guards that are built for a neck brace. I wear this with my TLD 5900 and it works great. But just remember that if it doesn't fit right, you can exchange it for a different one with free shipping both ways with our fit guarantee. Just needs to be in brand new, unused condition -Chase

    Anyone know the difference between Atlas Air and the Atlas Air Lite?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Air Lite and Air are very similar and offer the same amount of protection but the Air Lite is a more stripped down version. The Air also comes with additional shoulder pads and the ability to adjust the back shoulder pads.
