One month old here....1000 miles and we are loving it, letting go of our 2011 CRV. Ours is FWD, Meteorite Gray, really no need for fog lights. Wish list includes ventilated seats, larger side mirrors, automatic memory adjustment for side mirrors, LED backup lights. 9" display is functional and easy to navigate. No issues with your camera positioning. I do not understand the claim that the 1.5L turbo is weak. It has plenty of power and when I slip it into "P" gear, this puppy GOES! Silky smooth on smooth roads, but you will feel the bumps, but the chassis quickly recovers and plants the CRV firmly on the ground with no drifting. I like both the hybrid and the EX-L but did not want to pay the extra $$ and wanted a full spare.
I had a 2017 4runner with BF Goodrich offroad tires and I felt every damn bump and turning corners it felt like the car wanted to go on its side. Trust me this thing feels and drives so smooth and the drive is more fun and enjoyable. I hardly feel the bumps compared to the 4runner. And yea the 1.5T kicks in and it zooms. I love driving this damn thing even tho the 4runner was one of my favorite cars and a diehard toyota fan.
I LOVE this new generation of the CR-V So much better looking. However, I did notice at least one bit of de-contenting and that was the handy rear-seat release handles back in the cargo area. Those were super handy and nice. Now, you gotta either reach way up or do it from the passenger doors. I want to say there were some other things left off but I can't recall...
I didn’t watch the entire video, but if your reviews are similar to other TH-camrs, then you may have missed one really nice convenience that only a few of its competitors offer: the ability of the doors to automatically lock after the driver. Another nice convenience is not having to unscrew the fuel cap (it doesn’t have one). The last 3 vehicles I’ve owned have been CR-Vs (2015 and newer) and the 2023-24-25 models are the best.
yeah it is missing fog lights. i was considering this vehicle but have been looking again at the rav4. i have a 2016 rav4 and still love it but will be passing it on to my son.
I had the 2023 Honda CR-V EXL and traded it in for a 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport L. I’m glad I did, the hybrid is by far a lot smoother of a vehicle. I would definitely recommend anyone considering to purchase a new CR-V to make it the hybrid.
@@dman9416 The main reason a lot of mechanics don’t like hybrids but of course they won’t tell you this is because of the hybrid battery. The hybrid battery reduces a lot of problems that conventional gasoline engines have because the parts last longer. As a mechanic you want the vehicles to have problems so they can make money.
i'm surprised Honda omitted the temp gauge for engine coolant. i guess they don't want you to know when it's time to turn off the a/c on a very hot day to try and save your engine,before the red dash light comes on and your stuck in the middle of a congested highway,nice going Honda.
Exactly lol. Im one of those guys that like to heat up the engine before driving and I cant see the gauge now 🤣 Frustrates me cuz its so minimalistic now but im definitely not that person to just turn on my car and drive off the driveway with no fcks about engine temperature. One good feature though is that before heading to work I use the remote start feature before I head out the door so I know my engine has been heated up.
I've had fog lights on my 2004 Jeep GC and have probably used them less than 10 times in the past 20 years. It seems most mostly often they're used just to annoy oncoming traffic.
I like the ne style but, I own a 2022 CRV. The last model before changes made. I really , really love it. It is a very rounded high quality made vehicle.
I wish it had a compass on the dash board showing which way you are heading while you are driving instead of that compass symbol on the display monitor
2024 and Honda is still using incandescent bulbs for the rear signal lights. Front ones are LED why not the rear….Also do the new ones come with a factory installed immobilizer device???
Honda has no spare in the Hybrids. The Xle has a cheater spare but I rather have a rim and a tire that's on the car. But only the cheater fits in the trunk. Really is the future just cheaters or spray cans to fix a flat. in mountains, at night and rural roads I like a real tire

No tire pressure monitor for each tire on the dashboard and ventilated seats is a dealbreaker for me.

I wish Honda would put the rear seats lever back by the hatch door. It is more convenient.

I think thats when you connect android auto or apple carplay. Navigation doesnt come integrated into the stereo without the use of a phone.
