I am a 28 year old Texas girl with no knowledge about cars. I have been watching videos and have learned so much terminology and facts about cars! Now that I found you, it was awesome to see you compare all the trims. It is going to help me save time at the dealership. Thank you!!
I am disappointed that three things are missing in the Touring model 1. Fog lights, I am a fan of it. We get fog frequently and visibility can be down to an arm's length. I wander if one can add as after market. 2. 360 degree camera view. 3. Lack of spare tire as most people mentioned. What I like about the Touring. 1. Quiet. 2. Remote start for heating in winter or cooling in hot summer. 3. Handless lift gate. 4. Inbuilt satellite navigation. 5. Comparative best in glass mileage.
A few things that I think are important on the Touring trim: 1. Acoustic glass on the driver and passenger doors as well as extra sound insulation behind the engine and in the 19" Tires which makes this trim quieter. 2. Satelite Navigation 3. Heated Steering Wheel 4. Back up Breaking to avoid collisions when parking
This is the vehicle I’m getting real soon. I’m glad you did this review actually of all 3 types because it has helped me decide which one I want….the Sport L version in the Dark Midnight Blue 👏🏾
I recently took delivery of a 2025 CRV Hybrid Touring in Solar Silver. I really love the car! I don’t care about air cooled seats or panoramic sunroof it has everything I need, drives like a dream, very quiet, very efficient & will have awesome resale value when the time comes to sell/trade it.
Thanks, Jeff, for the comprehensive review of these three hybrid trim packages. I'm purchasing one soon, I believe, and this has helped me understand the differences between the three. - Portland, OR
Here’s what’s missing\lacking on all trim levels for the ‘24 and ‘25 models: 1. Multi-View Camera System (aka Pilot) 2. Lack of screen incorporated into the dash 3. Ventilated seats 4. Panoramic roof 5. Spare tire (hybrid models)
Not having a multi-view camera (here in the USA) even in the top trim is a big disappointment. It is probably a deal breaker for me even considering so many advantages over their Korean competition. And why is the side-view lane watch camera no longer available here (like my 2014 Odessey had)? Note: What's confusing is that there are multiple Honda corporation videos showing the CR-V with multi-view cameras, but they must be for other markets.
HYBRID TOURING DISADVANTAGES no heads up display🤨 no panoramic moon roof 😒 no spare tire😡 no ventilated seats ☹️ no heated back seats😳 no great gas mileage🙄 in that price range it should been more features like other competion company’s has ☹️ anyways comfortable to drive but not happy with the gas mileage
I was disappointed when Honda made only CR-V Sports into hybrids. I had a '20 Touring Hybrid that had great silver aluminum wheels, but I am not a fan of black wheels. Honda should have added an EX-L hybrid option. Also, the recent price increases on CR-V's are pure exploitation of the market by Honda. It's just too expensive now.
In Canada there is no Sport-L, it is called an EX-L and is a Hybrid. The dealer does not have non -hybrid EX-Ls. Sounds like they are getting rid of some models.
Traded my Camaro for my wife to have the White Sport Saturday. I loved it so much that we traded her 23 Accord for me a Solar Silver Sport L Monday. Absolutely love them.
Nice, pleasant reviews. Seen in Buffalo NY: I know you were pressed for time on the Sport Touring...I have a 2023 in that beautiful (extra cost) brighter metallic blue. The Sport Touring also has standard satellite-linked navigation, exclusive extra sound-deadening (I test drove the Sport and Sport Touring...you could tell the difference in the NVH refinement), the EcoAssist system is predictive, rain-sensing wipers (not on the Sport-L), heated steering wheel (which warms up WAY faster than heated seats...lovely), and the steering wheel is leather, not "leatherette." My own review during 18 months of ownership: main flaw is my Sirius/XM drops out more frequently than in my previous 7 leased high-end Accords, and it's not just a "blocked signal." I have a once-in-a-blue-moon interior rattle somewhere in the left dash...haven't ever asked the dealer about either flaw. The hybrid has 247 lb-feet torque, much more than the non-hybrid. With 500 extra pounds and AWD, no doubt it's somewhat slower than the Accord hybrid, but it's NOT slow. Great offline torque, more than adequate passing power. So, I've had 7 straight Accords and now this ST hybrid. It's the most refined Honda I've had thus far, though I'm sure the Accord Touring is just as quiet. We only had 1 really snowy week last winter, and the AWD seemed to work fine, though I suspect the Subaru AWD system is better. And, with arthritic knees, the CRV seats are the perfect height, while lower Accord seats caused some pain getting in and out. Rear doors in all CRVs open to about 90 degrees, which is great with child seats. I DON'T MISS MY ACCORDS (from 2023 on, the new Accord was 1" too long for my garage, while the CRV is 8 or 9 inches shorter) AND I LOVE THIS VEHICLE!
I also miss wireless android/apple in it. I have teenagers and my cords are always going missing haha. And it's just a real convenience to not have to plug in to get everything going.
From Canada, weird in the USA the CV-R has sport in every name. We have ex-l, sport and just touring. Disappointed in the infotainment systems and crappy camera resolution for the price
I find it tacky so many manufacturers still just crudely stick the screen sticking out of the dash like that. It’s just kind of lazy. Wish more companies would follow the Hyundai/Genesis trend of having it seamlessly blended into the cluster screen, it looks a lot more classy.
The kit is good and they've added 24-7 roadside support. If you travel a lot you can also buy aftermarket spares and carrying them with you. Not ideal.
The Sport Touring package would look amazing IF the chrome window trim was Black to match the rest of the trim. But it doesn't come with an EXTRA seat pocket? WTH HONDA? ;) Definitely going with the Touring package. Is there any word if the CR-V is going to get a remodel in a couple years?
I find two things that are sad for me, which made me to chose a Subaru over CR-V. I was looking at a hybrid initially, but lack of spare wheel and the fact that hybrid uses lithium metal oxide battery (those that are at risk of thermal runaway) instead of much more stable and safe LiFePO4 made me change my mind about hybrid. Come on, Honda, 2 kWH LiFePO4 powerbank with capacity higher than the hybrid battery is on sale on Amazon for $800, do not be so cheap on customers, do not install the cheapest battery which can catch fire (and sure enough, there are two open recalls on 2025 CR-V model which both can lead to fire, one of them from the battery). I do not want any risk of fire in my garage which can burn my house down! I started looking at gasoline versions instead, those have a spare wheel (hooray!) but lack a higher level sound system (the Bose one offered only in top trim hybrid), and sound system is something that I value in the car. The sound system in gasoline CR-V, or in hybrid trims lower than the top trip, are really bad. Ideally, in my mind, hybrid and gas versions should have similar trims, only different drivetrains. So I ended up giving up on CR-V.
I just purchased the sport touring model. Love it except for the navigation / Google maps system. Coming out of a 2020 Hyandai Santa Fe, I find Hyundai's technology far superior than Honda. Even the wireless charger is quite weak as compared.
Need ur advice.I bought the CRV Hybrid Executive pack in 02/2022 and i planning to buy now the new CrV.I live in Cyprus.I visit the showroom and they two options:Elegance and Advance and they have €2000 different. My question is does Advance pack same with the Sport Touring..?
Sport L for me. Ghe only thing I don't like about this CRV is the infotainment system. 7 and 9 inches are not enough. Come on Honda! You could do better.

Yep, no one's mentioned that when remote start is engaged, it warms the steering wheel and seats in my sport touring. I love it.

Nothing but black interior unless you buy touring model!?
That spare tire is a major deal breaker.
I can change a tire in minutes and calling for help sucks, if there's any signal or you might be far away
Was thinking of downgrading my Acura MDX Type S. Might as well keep it if the Touring is over 40k

What’s up with no spare tire ?
It’s a recall comparison party
Ride quality Sport L vs Sport Touring? Are the shorter sidewall tires on the ST rougher riding?
what about the blind spot sensors on these 3 versions? In 2025, were they installed in all models?
Yes
I find it tacky so many manufacturers still just crudely stick the screen sticking out of the dash like that. It’s just kind of lazy. Wish more companies would follow the Hyundai/Genesis trend of having it seamlessly blended into the cluster screen, it looks a lot more classy.

I have the sport L hybrid and I can tell you the drivers seat is NOT comfortable. I've had to get a cushion and a leg extender. I'm not even tall!
Blame God who created you! You have a small body.
I think seats are very subjective depending on body build. To me, the seat is very comfortable, but I don't doubt that doesn't apply to everyone.
Forget to say the sport touring have heated wheel amigo good content

The center console is quite spacious and deep. The door pockets are functional but a bit tight.
