Absolutely, I ran a cattle pot from 85 ta 92 a great life and now all the government and foreign drivers have ruined the industry. A driver knows their limits to pull over and rest rather than the government telling us when and what we're gonna do.
And the people that haven’t lived it cannot understand it. It’s not complaining it’s stating facts. I appreciate everything from Alice and Martin. Keep it up, no explanation needed
For those of you new people to this channel this is exactly what real trucking is and for those of you who live it every day thank you! for those who don’t understand what goes on out here watch and learn.
You did a great job Alice with the city delivery. Be confident in the challenges and when you complete them successfully there is such a great feeling of accomplishment.
Thanks Alice and Martin for your dedication on showing us viewers your daily reality within the trucking world. People who are nasty about your great content, should actually try just doing it. Truckers who move our goods and services to stores endure many days alone on the road and away from family. Hats off to all truckers who choose this profession as your much appreciated. ❤❤❤ Your blogs and always look forward to the next one. Be safe on the road Alice.🎉
Joe from New Jersey Drove truck for 43 yrs. Retired in2018 its a rough life dangerous job it aint for everybody i must say you guys do one hell of a job together!! Be safe love you two!!❤😊
You have a great perspective on the trucking industry! I grew up in a trucking family and used to ride with dad when I was a kid. He hauled beer from La Crosse to Chicago everday and had backhauls of mostly grocery products back. Unless you had drop trailers at their facility you never knew how long it would take. Today I'm a warehouse manager and make sure incoming drivers get fast attention knowing how precious their time is!
Thank you and Martin for taking the time to put out videos for us. I am not in the industry so I learn about it because of content you guys produce. Forget the haters, thanks for what you do in and out of the truck. Nice job on the city backing!
I drove otr, ohhh boy its particularly fun when you're at a receiver ,it takes them 10hrs for 8 pallets. I think everyone should do ride alongs then they might have more appreation for us drivers because they would experience it. You & martin are a good team & good drivers. I appreciate what you guys do, you guys move America....And keep it moving 😊😊😊😊
Most don't understand that when you are stuck waiting to load your not getting paid for that time. Trucking is a thankless job and the stress is unreal. Thank you both for all you do keeping this country moving and don't let the haters get you down. Love the channel and love you both.
Alice it's always good to see you and kicking ass at what you do. Really loving your new look. Stay safe. Hope all is going well with Martin and the Cummins transplant. 🚚🚚🚚🚚🚚🚚🛻
Alice, Martin .... Love the channel. Thanks for keeping it real. You all are doing fine ❤ some people in life are just Eeyore's. D bags every where. Thanks for all you do !!
Awesome ... that city traffic would have given me a great big ole anxiety attack. I can certainly see why you were happy to be done with it . Thanks for sharing Alice.
Trucking, especially being an owner operator, is a love-hate profession. In our case, the love definitely outweigh the hate. I would never change one day of it. It was the best part of my life. Keep up the great videos Alice. You and Martin are the best.
Mc Lane in San Bernardino used to have us pay the lumper fee (210.00) up front to unload their loads. They would sign our bills along with giving us a lumper receipt as well. That way we didn’t have to wait for them to count and separate the individual items.
Wow. I love this video of the REAL LIFE of trucking. Back in the day. ( I am an old dude), I guess 1980 or 81, I had a trip lease thing going. I would pick up petrochemical pellets from a Ford Plastics plant in Saline, then pick up a load of Flex steel sofa sleeper frames in Jeffersonville, IN. I then dropped off the frames in Harrison, Arkansas, then I drove the petrochemical pellets to Houston, then deadheaded to the border and picked up auto parts to bring back to the Ford plant in Dearborn, MI. Well, while in Houston, a dockworkers strike had me delayed, so I left the trailer there at the dock, and went to Pasadena with my new tractor ( 1980 Freightliner FLT Cabover). Even visited Gilleys and rode the mechanical bull. LOL. Well when I got back to the terminal to pick up my trailer, the striking union workers slashed all eight tires. So I was delayed another week, and all my profit went for tires and meal, etc. So trucking has always been a a balancing act of good and bad. I wouldn't have traded it for the world.
Happiest of birthdays, Alice!!!! Also! I've had a Porta potty in my truck ever since I had my ARI sleeper. I would never be without one now. It's a must have.
Love the videos havnt found a bad one yet it's life as a trucker all good keep up the videos thanks miss Alice and Mr Martin for sharing God bless yall 🙏 always a good video's
I would definitively be very nervous to having to back up in that yard from a busy city street WHILE IT IS EXTRA NARROW because of road works. Hats off for you. 🎩💪
I like how people complain when you tell/show them the real nature of things. This is how trucking is people's. If ya don't like what they show ya or tell ya in trucking videos, you're really gonna hate the career choice/lifestyle because there's a lot of behind the scenes stuff ya don't get to see. People these days just don't like hearing negativity, and when they do hear it they get all butt hurt and throw a tizzy.
And I started Trucking in 1964 and I've seen it all and done that and been there and live off to it and made a good living and I'm not complaining not one time
I used to live in Castle Rock, CO from 2008 until mid-2010. I really enjoyed living there. That being said, the population has more than doubled from 2010 through 2023, so it may be just too crowded for me now. I lived in "Old Town" and really enjoyed my time there.
Back in the days when I pulled reefers I hauled meat out of liberal Kansas. When I would get damaged products they would tell me to throw it in the trash or do whatever. We had real truck stops with real restaurants and they were always more than happy to take it off my hands.
Hey Alice. A couple of things. #1. Block those jackass's that are constantly whining and bitching their not worth stressing about. #2. The views are amazing. And beautiful. And you did a great job backing up. #3. You be you girl. You're awesome. As is Martin. And finally #4. When you showed your phone and it was 35 degrees. The anger on your face made ME nervous. Hahaha.. you rock girl and you are a hell of a driver. OH and one last thing. When you took your paperwork in and she asked what you had and you said stuff I bout fell out of my chair. Lol. Thanks so much for the video. Truck safe.
Well cool Alice, backing across a city street, you can cross that off your bucket list. Also that blade you passed i think was manufactured in a plant just over the hill from my house. At least their yard has maybe 100 200 blades in rows. Instead of "no brag, just facts" lets make it NO COMPLAIN JUST FACTS. Glad you guys film. Dont give the vest to Dave LOL
Well said Alice. Trucking is a Love Hate relationship. There are great days and some not so good. Until youve been there ,if youve done it a long time like us youll understand that. Probably some arm chair viewers only see us as Tourists.. theres a heck of a lot more to this job than just being a tourist seeing our beautiful country. Safe trucking Alice
This is why many drivers are leaving the industry, if you no longer have the yearning for the open road, it's like any other job after time you start to choose whether that yearning outweighs the crap you have to put up with. By the way I want to add I have a hell of a lot of respect for all you drivers out there that are sticking trucking out!
Alice, Alice, Alice...... trust in your ability, you did great!! You are more capable than you give yourself credit for. Also, don't listen to the losers that simply want to judge, most of them probably don't even drive truck. I am a Canadian and I do drive long distance for a living and can see that you are very capable, cheers!
Hey Beautiful I love watching your videos, you are amazing and just being honest with what really happens with the truckers life on the road. Myself I am a retired trucker 8 years now. # 1 fan .
I absolutely love watching your channel. My parents used to live in Wyoming so I know interstate 80 pretty well and now I live in Colorado Springs so so so I was excited to see you in Colorado again I know you used to come to Colorado from California California. Your husband is an amazing mechanic. I wish I had half the skills he does and just figure out what’s wrong with my own vehicle?
Keep up the good content, driving in the US🇺🇲 seems completely different to here 🇬🇧 I really feel for drivers sitting at a warehouse for hours I never had that being a tipper (sorry dump truck) driver, but try driving in London that's when you know it's bad. But the open road footage is great, and please take your little doggy with you more 😂
Alice, something that is kind of absurd is that a lot of the younger crowd who believes that the world revolves around them, does NOT realize that you are not talking to them only. I have learned that no matter what you try to do, someone somewhere is going to bitch about it anyways. You and Martin keep doing what you and Martin do and thank you for letting me into your trucking life. (see, I made that for me only!)
I get it , you don't like trying to Unload in the city but you made it look easy. Driving to Emmett. Idaho, you were in the same area as The Home Depot. I helped to open. Before I took a federal job in Denver. I miss the Boise area, but thank you for the pictures it brought back memories.
Mrs Alice love the videos I understand my folks drove for 16 yrs the problem is brokers and dispatchers act like the world going to come to a halt the manufacture says we ain’t got it made and the receivers say we’re are we to put it
Trucking is definitely a choice not many would pick. Nor do many actually know the ups and downs of trucking. Imagine after you work your 9 to 5 job and your ready to go home and the boss needs you to work till 9 PM. He says no problem you will be gone by 9 and it’s 11:30 and your still there. 12 midnight rolls past and your still there. At 1:00 in the morning you finally finish. From 5 till 7 you sat waiting for the work you were suppose to do come from the other office. To big of a file to send over internet. So it’s one in the morning you still have to get home sleep have breakfast and be back for 9AM. That’s what many trucker days are like. Suprise after surprise every day. At least the office worker gets to go home every night. It might be 6 more days before the trucker gets to go home and it happens 3 more times during the trip that things go south. Pressure pressure pressure keeps mounting. Ya see drivers try to do the best job they can, there a proud bunch. But when negative things get thrown at you it gets harder to do the best you can do. So working 9 to 5 and go home every night is just as they say on the west coast it’s kind of candy ass. There is a huge difference doing 40 hours a week driving a desk, going home every night than driving 70 hours every week and your barreling down the highway at 65 mph and your 40 tons, just a bit heavier than your pencil holder. Driving over the road is a very dangerous job, typing on a key board is not. So for the people that judge Alice or Martin on how they walk talk and socialize maybe it’s time you step into there shoes, oh, greasy side down , shinny side up. Have a great and a safe day Alice and Martin. Happy trails to you, D…
Trucking is a LIFESTYLE CHOICE ! For anyone that does not love it its a job and will never be truly happy doing it

Hello 👋 Martin and kids
Well then time to put on the Big Boy pants Alice, not every location is an easy in & out... 👊
