Exactly the same clicking on starting.
    Whats happened.
Caught in traffic & had to reverse for a few hundred meters to allow other cars to get through.
On doing so steam came though the bonnet & on opening it, the coolant bottle was completely overflowing & spirting all over the place with boiling coolant. Had to leave it hours to cool down.
Then completely filled the coolant system back up & it started ok & drove ok for 100miles.
The following morning it wouldn't start & the clicking started, also noticed two pin prick holes on the coolant tank, so leaking very slightly.
It'll start with a push or on a downhill, but not otherwise...just the clicking sound.
Battery is checked & 100% fine.
I'm wondering if the connections (battery or starter) have been effected or the live cable from the battery to starter have been effected, with the boiling coolant?
I'm now going to clean the battery connections properly & try.
The starter, i'm unsure where it is, so i can get to it & do the same?
The car has always started first time prior to the coolant all over the place.

I’d check the starter fuse and the relay as the fuse box is right next to the coolant reservoir. The fact that it runs with a push, would suggest everything else is ok. I’d suspect though, somethings popped.

Today I cleaned & sanded the battery connections, plus swapped the starter relay & still have the same problem.
Tomorrow I will swap the starter fuse & see.
If still the same I feel the problem will be the connections on the starter itself, have been effected by the amount of coolant that went all over the place. It seems I will have to get under the car engine to locate it & remove/clean the connections.
I find it too much of a coincidence that the starter isn't working, as this issue has only started 100miles after the coolant went everywhere on overheating.
Do you know which side of the engine the starter is located...or is it in the middle?
Thanks for your earlier reply, it's appreciated.

When you say somethings popped, you mean as in the relay or fuse?
Is there anything else that the coolant could have effected while it was spraying all over. It was like a red hot high pressure shower under immense pressure going everywhere. Every bit of the engine & engine bay was completely wet through.

@@keepitreal1547 I had a Quick Look at the set up and the starter and cable is right underneath, you could do with finding out if you’ve got 12 volts at the starter, maybe do a voltage leak test on the cable.
