During the past 10 years, despite of many hardships of his life, he was the first to win the Olympic Gold twice, the first to record 18 World Records, the first to achieve the Super Slum. And her is the one who helped his hometown ice rink Sendai rebuild by donating his awards money, as if March 10, 2021, totaling about 31 million yen (=$314400).
Yuzuru's life has been full of injuries, surgeries and lots of sufferings. But he never complained about those unfortunate incidents, instead, he continued wanting to skate, as his desire has been always to be a "light" for the people who were badly affected by them earthquake or others disasters or, most recently, by the pandemic. For him, the figure skating is not just a sport, but it is the performance through which he can send his encouraging messages to all the people around the world. That is why we all are moved, inspired and encouraged to hold a hope to move forward for them better future.

I was never interested in figure skating, but I really like to see Yuzuru Hanyu skate, even without the jumps seeing Yuzuru skate is beautiful,every time I see him he transmits so much passion in his performance, Yuzuru Hanyu makes figure skating more than a sport, he makes art, but most of all , Yuzuru Hanyu is a human being with a beautiful heart, that's why many people around the world love him.
yuzu just has an aura that I've never seen on other athlete before, like an aura similar to the most charismatic singer or idol. besides an skater, he is a performer, he gives his everything on every single program. and we could talk for hours about his wisdom and way of seeing things. I'm so happy that I got to know him and became his fan ♡
Yuzuru's skating is a perfect package. Artisty, musicality, technicality, and beauty are all in his performance. And his love and respect for the ice, the people and the human lives are all reflected in his performance.
I think the central reason people love him is his unique personality, great nature and his wonderful skills that bring his fan and fellow skaters without filtering. He is a chef throwing all the different ingredients; races, nationalities and classes, into a pot, ice rink, making one unique dish no one can challenge. Lastly, he is happy with what he gets. He might be occasionally disappointed with his performances, which is perfectly OK as that's typical human nature, but he know how to accept and praise genuinely his opponents who beat him with their excellent performances.
His was not an instant success, but once he reached the top, he changed and elevated his sport beyond everyone’s dreams. He is a true gift from the gods.
Hanyu is phenomenon of Figure skating World! Unfortunately he was/is constantly robbed by ISU and their judges. He is also constantly belittled by western media saying he only famous in Japan or only focus on the Winnie the Pooh. The history will tell that he is the true legend who actually bring FS to another level! A man who really need to be cherished by us! Thank you Yuzuru for never giving up and always fighting.

Not only does he have an outstanding record, he is especially an amazing sportsman, always humble and respectful. There are videos about that on youtube and I encourage people to see it ( made by YuzuFlow), really make you a fan of Yuzuru even if you are not following Ice Skate (which is my case ^^). I think Yuzuru is simply the best person to have as a role model when you are an athlete. He is incredibly talented and accomplished but always remains fun and full of life.

I might be old enough because I knew fs for the 1st time in 1978 🤣 when I was little. I've seen lots of great skaters but there's no one with such a lovable character. I've found my favorite ice dancers back in 1984. And after almost 4 decades I can finally say I found my favorite male skater. Don't say that at 27 a skater can't do anything anymore and should retire. Who are we to dictate someone's passion and life? 27 is still young and there are many possibilities to grow but people try to convince him to accept their own 'normal' standards. But remember he's on his own league. Skating is his breath. I know it'll be Yuzuru vs the whole world/ISU traditions if he continued to compete. Torvill and Dean retired after 1984 Olympics & went professionals, but return to compete in 1994 Olympics. They also got underscored and the audiences booed the judges 🤣🤣 There are also other older male and female Olympians in history, so why can't he? Let's wait & see what he'll bring to us in the time to come.

The sub title of this video is Why do people love him? i thought we would get an expose talking to fans, fellow skaters and others about why they love Yuzu. Instead we have a biography. it is great to list Yuzu's life story and everyone should know it. But if you are going to have that sub title then you need to fill in the other 110% about why people love him. It's the bits you do not see in this video that are the reasons why Fanyus love him. :)

I might be old enough because I knew fs for the 1st time in 1978 🤣 when I was little. I've seen lots of great skaters but there's no one with such a lovable character. I've found my favorite ice dancers back in 1984. And after almost 4 decades I can finally say I found my favorite male skater.
Don't say that at 27 a skater can't do anything anymore and should retire. Who are we to dictate someone's passion and life? 27 is still young and there are many possibilities to grow but people try to convince him to accept their own 'normal' standards. But remember he's on his own league. Skating is his breath.
I know it'll be Yuzuru vs the whole world/ISU traditions if he continued to compete. Torvill and Dean retired after 1984 Olympics & went professionals, but return to compete in 1994 Olympics. They also got underscored and the audiences booed the judges 🤣🤣
There are also other older male and female Olympians in history, so why can't he? Let's wait & see what he'll bring to us in the time to come.

The sub title of this video is Why do people love him? i thought we would get an expose talking to fans, fellow skaters and others about why they love Yuzu. Instead we have a biography. it is great to list Yuzu's life story and everyone should know it. But if you are going to have that sub title then you need to fill in the other 110% about why people love him. It's the bits you do not see in this video that are the reasons why Fanyus love him. :)

I bought a ticket because I wanted to see yuzuru's skating. yuzuru should be evaluated more. If yuzuru stops the competition, I will graduate too.
