- An Origin multi I programmed a few years ago. Inspired by the Kling Klang magic. Two niftily intertwined sequences (bass seq and "bounce" seq), transposed with the left side of the split keyboard which also plays the dark bass notes. Planning on doing a longer demo with vocals.

Surprisingly accurate sounding recreation, especially the synth parts. Wish it was longer. Well done.

I honestly truly believe that one day the Origin is going to be really understood and sought after . I think many people just did not understand the concept and wrote it off as a load of Arturia synths in a box, which is way missing the point. The power that lurks under that beautiful front panel and what it can do is astounding.
Exactly. To be honest it took me a while to fully understand what it actually was. I saw ads for it but it wasn’t registering. Once the light 💡 finally went on, I immediately sold gear to buy the Origin. That was a very good year!

Arturia should seriously give you a job. I ain't kidding either, they really should hire you to make presets for their synthesizers. Absolute blinding synth preset programming.
That’s exactly what happened! I’ve been doing presets and tribute banks for them ever since :) For example their Kraftwerk and TD tributes

Today I bought a second Origin. Already had the keyboard version.
In my opinion the best virtual soundengine ever made
My 2nd Origin is bricked ATM…tried to replace the encoder, now the display just shows color bars…

which firmware version on Arturia Origin do you run?
v1.4 - as far as I know this is the latest version. I posted all of my patches and multis in the legacy Origin forum (as hermitnerd) legacy-forum.arturia.com/index.php?board=49.0 and most of them are also available in my Private Collection bank: downloads.arturia.com/products/origin/preset/Preset_Origin_PrivateCollection_PaulSchilling.zip

Do you know if arturia are talking about doing another origin?
Unfortunately no - you have to find a used one on eBay. Most people seemed to prefer to throw together a bunch of the V-Collection synths in their DAW rather than have this integrated hardware solution
