I think this is the unofficial world record for the original city as this is the highest score I have seen. This beats my old high score of $98,260.47 I achieved with B.D. Joe. This run gets very sloppy in some places; especially towards the end when I am frantically trying to find customers. I did some wall sticks but most of them were unintentional. The ones towards the end were intentional as I really wanted to get over $110,000. With some more polishing on my technique and less dropping of my combos, $110,000 should be easy.
Gus, You're CRAZY!! That's all I gotta say: Crazy Taxi.
@Jericho Carl yea, I've been watching on instaflixxer for years myself :)
"What am I, Superman?" I lost it lol
I don't recall hearing Gus say that before today, hah.
8:04 "It's under control."
I like when the last says COOL at 19:15, YEAH at 22:10 and 23:40. God Bless.
holy shit this runs 5x faster than the arcade!
I think it's just the recording. It always looks so much faster when I watch it back. Probably has to do with frames or something like that lol.
Those 4 classic cars are great for Forza 6 or Forza 7, even if they are all highly modified, including their engines is something that should come very soon.
Nice job , dude. You have got really cool record.
Ah I miss Gus.
Fun vid
At 55:25, why didn't you go forward, towards the Smith Club and you chose to spin around the Used Car Shop?
I think sometimes I just forget where some of those inner streets lead and I just instinctively go the way that is more familiar to me. But you're right, going forward would have shaved off a little bit of time, and every second counts. It's just one of the many things I need to work on.
YAH YAH YAH YAH YAH!
great skills!
I noticed that you dont use the booster button combo that often like others do, for example the world record holder. Does this something have to do on what system you play? Or is the bosster trick not THAT neccesary to use it every 3 seconds...? For now I made some experience on the PC and PSP version, and it seems like on the PSP you dont have to do that that often cause your car is holding the speed for a longer while then on the PC version.
XrackProject are you talking about the limit cut? Because I do use it quite a lot. I guess I don't really spam it all the time though. Limit cutting makes it harder to make tight turns and there are a lot of turns to make on this nap so maybe that's why. In any case this run is pretty old now and there are a lot more optimizations that can be made. I will get a better score eventually!
Alright then! I just subbed to your channel! :) Im always curious about other Crazy Taxi players! :) My highscore is pretty low yet... around 59k but I just figured out how to boost but I dont have any good memory about the customer tactics. I read once a guide for the Arcade Map but since the customer constelation is chaning every single ride I always get pretty confused and just pick up the long rides first and the others later.
Thank you! I have been planning on getting back into crazy taxi for a little while, so hopefully soonish ill have some new material. 59k on the Arcade map? That's not too bad. My best on the Arcade city is 67k. I don't really play the Arcade city as much just cause I have more fun on this one. But yeah you do have to be a bit more strategic on that one with what customers you pick up.
Yeh, I guess I will have to study the guide a little bit more. The reason why I play the Arcade map is, that this was the first and only map I could play as a teenager. Believe me or not, but my Crazy Taxi game came with my cornflakes! ;D It was not the full game but hey, it was enough for keeping my hours playing it! :) Alright, I will stay tuned for any other video of yours! :)
The standard time is 50 seconds. is 70 seconds the 'standard' that everyone plays with trying to compete?
Yes, I believe so. It's to maximize high score potential. When I started making Crazy Taxi videos I copied the settings of the world record at the time.
@@DnEdBr I've just started playing this on Twitch. How about you?
@@mr2nut123 Nice! and yes, I streamed a few games a few years ago and I just started streaming again last week. My more recent Crazy taxi videos were from streams.
The mad streets of San Francisco.
San Fran is the Arcade course. This is San Lorenzo.
Nice limiter cut hop at 1:50:34.
Austin Lucas I can't even remember if that was on purpose but thanks for watching enough to see it!
At 1:07:05, why didn't you go to West Central Station and then by the railway to South Parking?
Hmm, that might be a little faster, next time, if I can remember, I'll try it.
mihnea neacsu
The woman at 1:09:53 too. Was going through the city faster than through the train tunnels? I really wonder.
It probably wasn't. At the time I just wasn't as adept at navigating the city as I am now. For example I had a bad habit of going through the wrong end of the tunnel when I would try to take a shortcut, and it would make me lose a lot of time, so I just did what I was used to. Now I am much better though. When I play now I also take some of the side streets to shave of precious seconds. Looking at a map of the city made it all make a lot more sense.
I saw a video on a guy who played Gus and hit 238 customers here on TH-cam, and all of them gotten to their destinations on time.
Yeah, but he was playing on the arcade city which is different. You have to strategize more on which customers you pick up too. That run is amazing though, I can't yet break $100,000 in the arcade city; not enough practice.
Got 100k on the GameCube a long time ago using the exact strategy you used, tho I tried to get huge tip multipliers on that long stretch of highway behind spawn to rack up tons of cash earlier. Sparse customers towards the end is a bitch tho.
Nothin he can't handle
Also I've seen you on other videos OwO
18:18 - excuse me, what did you say?
2:16:44 CRAZY That's that's all i have to say Crazy Taxi
Why you hasn't tried to go on the UNDERGROUND stations on the city and WATER around too for pick up much faster some customers too?
Are you talking about the hidden customers? In this video I picked up everyone that I knew about at the time. I've found a couple other customers that I didn't know about since then.
+DnEdBr Then make a new video record picking that customers ;)
Sergiu Badarau I'm going to attempt to beat my high score soon. It's just hard to find the time to sit down and play for over 2 hours straight lol.
@@DnEdBr Might want to try, I managed $101k last year with the traffic at max volume. "Crazy Thru" farming helps, I've managed $4k off that woman wearing red by Pizza Hut (green indicator) who wants to go to the fire station though the times I did ended up with her getting there late.
Very Nice
Three dislikes on an almost $110k run!? What the hell!?
They're just jealous.
This was a good game
The original Simpsons road rage
i can barely get 10 people ..
Read the manual; learn the crazy dash, limiter cut and crazy stop, you need them. Also, Gus' car is the absolute fastest, hardest to stop car (once you know the Crazy Dash and Limiter Cut.)
Is The Best Record !!!!
It's so weird without the original voices from the Dreamcast version.
whebever u see this hope youre well in 24 hipeyoull dosome bew videos
I love crazy taxi xbox 360
Holy shit.
Dude, what the $%&€@?! I'm good at "Arcade" from "Crazy Taxi" but I'm terrible at "Original", because I'm on Class D License and I reached over 1300 dollars.
In my opinion original is easier or at least more fun lol. I'm kinda the opposite though I love arcade too.
@@DnEdBr, sorry. I swallow my words. I finally mastered the Original trail from "Crazy Taxi".
@@juanluis8043 i haven't mastered it yet, the arrow takes you to wrong places and when i get normal, i rage because of the arrow.
are you using a cheat code?
No lol. What would make you think that?
+DnEdBr the speed you're going 😂😂
I'm actually using two different techniques to go fast. The Crazy Dash and the Limit Cut. Both of them are done by alternating between drive and reverse gears and hitting the gas. Its simply a matter of good timing to maintain a high speed.
+DnEdBr I didn't even notice lol. wow
Crazy Dash!! xD
How is this a world record if you play on easy?
I'm using the same settings that I've seen other people play on. I believe they are the same as the settings used in the world record score in the arcade city.
+DnEdBr yes, after some research it seems that galaxy twins records are hold by rules of this nature, but i really would want to see someone make it in video i mean 100k from what ive read it is possible but not in default (4,4) trafic , time)
now idk what to do , ive been trying to beat the 30k on default arcade mode and i dont know if i want to play on easy :/
+ZioN Ranks Are you trying to beat 30k in this city or the arcade one? I used to play with the default settings and 30k definitely isn't impossible in this one, though on the arcade city it would be a lot harder.
I haven't played in a little while but I always wanted to attempt high scores with harder settings just to see how much you can get.
+DnEdBr my actual personal best is 33k on the arcade city with normal default settings
+DnEdBr i know i can do more, I've reached the point of clients pick up optimizations due to enpty city spaces kill your time.
The voices are from CT2 from Dreamcast
The most I’ve ever gotten was 52 ppl
12:55
14:12 24:12 24:25
64, pod raceer
meh i've done more.
