  • Did you know that one day the Well of Souls will be perfected. Just imagine what the world would be like without death, without loss, without the afterlife. Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? Let’s find out!

    My guy, I'm a huge Kingdoms of Amalur fan, and I'm so glad someone who is keeping this amazing lore alive. Hopefully we we will get a spiritual successor ( if not a direct sequel) to this wonderful game

      I think there are sufficient clues in the Fatesworn DLC to suggest a direct sequel, perhaps not in Amalur, is still possible. My guess is that it will depend on the commercial viability of a producing a sequel. Most definitely the developers need to produce a new game free of the annoying bugs e have known in KoA:R, with improvements to the game design whilst retaining the excellent lore and quality of scripts we encountered in the Amalur content. I'd like to see a new adventure begin (beyond the Icewall Peaks) with the Fateless One and the three main characters who feature in the 'farewell' scenes of Fatesworn. If the developers can produce an exciting game featuring our beloved characters within the lore we cherish, then they will attract a wide audience of new players.

    That would make for a perfect sequel indeed.

      Definitely something that hasn’t really been explored before, and it would fit right in with Reckoning’s themes

    Have you considered trying to do a video on the Erathi? I know that the original project had a 10k year timeline, of lore, set up for the originally planned MMO, but I have only ever been able to find scraps and pieces of Erathi lore.
    A lot was probably left vague even in the original planning to generate mystery around these people, but if there is enough out there for a decent video, that would be pretty cool

      Most of the lore I could find on the Erathi, as well as the theories I pieced together from it, is discussed in my video “Who are the Dragons?” m.th-cam.com/video/GtPCNdmsr1w/w-d-xo.html
      However, I’ll likely do a solo video on the Erathi very soon :)

    How large is the universe of Amalur? Is it ever explained in detail?

    • @lordoflore9761
      @lordoflore9761  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sadly no, but Amalur is just the major continent. How big the planet is, or how many continents are there, is yet to be explained.

    I would love to play as a fae character

    • @lordoflore9761
      @lordoflore9761  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure that would happen, considering Amalur is all about mortals defying fate and making change, something that the Fae can’t really do.
      However, the Hironar, elves that were allied with Fae and their magics, were likely a playable race in Project Copernicus

      @@ProtestantSamurai53 I suppose it may have been difficult to figure out the size scales since gnomes are small compared to the other 'races'. I am fond of the Amalur gnomes - Nanne Henry is one of my favourite characters...
