I bet your package will arrive in a month. I've had that happen three times now and it took me 2 to 5 months to receive things but nothing has vanished
I have that happen as well. Worse, if the eBay seller refunds your money, eBay does not have an easy mechanism for you to repay. And their window to file a complaint is fixed and immobile. Have to go through convoluted gyrations to get the money back to a seller. Given the known problems with mail delivery, eBay should have addressed the situation. Causes problems for both buyers and sellers.
Sadly, I must confirm your experience with the USPS. After DECADES of reliable, on-time delivery through hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, blizzards, and whatever else nature could throw at them, the USPS began falling apart in the last six months for me.
No one to speak OF has the Care Or Patience of Folks like Radio Tv Phono~nut-- thats why I don,t wanna MOVE - I have Cellar full of Equipment -- might have to get out in 2 months!!!
Also, you can be sure that the recent degradtion at USPS is not the fault of the new Postmaster General. It's the usual union bureaucracy response to needed reforms: work slowdown and sabotage.
A couple years ago I ordered a nice Akai linear tracking turntable with a standard mount cartridge. The postal worker left in front of the garage door and my wife backed over it when she was pulling out of the garage and destroyed it. It would almost be like leaving a package at the train station on the tracks hoping they would get it before the train came. I usually don't confront people, but I did confront the mail person and told them that I was not happy. This was a difficult turntable to get a hold of and I got it relatively cheap. It was not salvageable. It was made out of mostly plastic and the main PCB was very broken and the tone arm won't move. I believe it did come with an Ortofon OE5 cartridge. Anyway, the person packing it packed it worse than Shango66 packed his intentional minimal packing turntable that you showed several months back. If you do get the record player, and I hope you do, it will be an added bonus. Take care.
I'm sorry for your loss but the story is pretty funny! I can't believe they left it right there by the garage door! Last week we got a box from Amazon that was wet - so wet that it was falling apart! I don't blame Amazon for it, getting the package wet was not their fault. The kicker? It had not even rained in the week we ordered the 2-day shipped package! No idea how it got wet. I missed the Shango packaging video, is there a link to it? Would love to see it.
@@commietube_censorship_sucks It was at the very bottom corner of the garage door and she wouldn't have been able to see it. It was totally invisible and was well below the bumper. She would have seen a little kid. The backup sensor didn't pick up on it either. Not blaming my wife at all. Most people can't see below their bumper when backing out of the garage.
@@commietube_censorship_sucks When the garage door is closed and the car is on the inside, the instinctive thing to do is to open the door, start the car, look in your rear view mirror and backup camera, and back out if you don't see anything in that path. I don't think most people get out of their car to see if somebody put an obstacle in the garage door opening that isn't visible when the door closes. If they don't see anything before they back and the backup camera has a really good view for objects above the bumper, that should be reasonable enough to just be able to back out of the garage.
I had a letter take 6 days to 141 miles. Every package I got in the last month has arrived late, extreemly late. I get stuff from china faster than in us
I ordered something last year and was shipped November 26 2019, and it went from Lake Zurich IL to San Fransisco international distribution center where it arrived on January 11 2020 and its been there ever sins. And something tells me that there been plenty of plains and boats that went to Europe during that time. USPS apparently means 'Unbelievable Slow Post & Shipping'
USPS has been holding my parcels for hostage since August 6th! BTW, Amazon has been using USPS and I have 3 missing orders because of this crap. - They need to catch hell for doing so.
It’s the luck of the draw with USPS. I shipped three Priority Mail packages at the same time recently. Two got there in three days, the other one took a little over a week.
Years ago, if you didn't do your job, you were fired - and others were waiting to replace you. Today, there's no accountability. I guess a lot of people don't have to work. Must be nice!
Wow I thought Canada Post was getting bad! I’ve had fleaBay packages sit in storage waiting to clear customers for up to two weeks. To get United Parcel Smashers delivery in Canada they charge their own ridiculous customs fees.
If you live in an apartment, Canada Post won't even deliver your parcels anymore. They just put a card in your box telling you to go pick it up at the local drug store postal outlet, where you have to show photo ID to get it.
Yeah I bought a tube tester on eBay it arrived damaged on 09/01/2020 which took about a month to get to my apartment in Langley bc Canada and I found 2 cut wires and 2 capacitors hanging by 1 lead, the case was all damaged, so I know what you are talking about, l love watching your videos keep up the good work.
The issue we have with the USPS is the actual mail carrier not delivering mail on time losing mail or delivering things to the wrong addresses. I had to eat a $1300 2-way radio I had sent off to the Motorola factory for repair about a year ago for a public safety customer. The mail carrier delivered it to the wrong address where druggies lived at the time. The post office was like "oh well it was delivered" and the cops would not do anything about it. The people who got the package admitted they had it and sold it and then proceeded to vandalize my shop with spray paint. That is what got them finally arrested but they had already sold the radio off for drugs according to the detective. I use DHL now for all my outgoing and request incoming packages be sent the same way.
It's really a sad state of affairs. DeJoy hasn't helped matters at all and he needs to go. That being said, without being political, there has been a steady decline in service from the USPS. My dad was a mail carrier back in the day (he retired from the Post Office). It just isn't the same. Even our current mail carrier makes weekly mistakes. He drops off mail at the house that belongs to the neighbors. And our mail ends up at other people's mail boxes. Last year I ordered a record LP. I got a "delivered" notification but when I got home it was no where to be found. I drove down our street and noticed and LP sitting at someone's front door. I walked up to the door, knocked and no one was home. I picked up the package and it had my name and address on it. Sometimes the service is good. I ordered some used records from Idaho and they were shipped media mail. I also ordered a new platter mat from my turntable. Bought them both on the same day and they shipped the same day. The package from Idaho arrived in TWO days (again, media mail) and the platter mat didn't arrive for 12 days. My dad sent our kids gift cards for their birthdays one year (since both kids have BDays in the fall he just send their presents together). he sent it next day Priority. After about 4 days we assumed it was lost (it also had some smoked sausage and honey in the box for us). So he sent cancelled the gift cards and sent some more and those arrived in a couple of days. The original package he sent (again using Priority Mail) arrived around 20 days later.
USPS is fine for me. I order a few 64GB SDXC cards from eBay, then shipped and delivered to me for two days while I was vacationing in Florida, and I wanted for music. Everything has delivered either on time, or being late. I remember one time, I order a costume for Halloween from China, and shipped it, and it took about two to three weeks to deliver here. I like to order stuff from parts of the US, not domestic countries like the UK, Canada, China, and others. Sometimes I used FedEx or UPS, but USPS is fine for me.
Isn't it amazing that they can ship from China to the US for less than it costs to ship something within the US? I guess with everything on the boat going to the same address, it's just cheaper. But, still....
I hear ya... I got my taste of the "in transit" arriving late nightmare. Sent a package from Omaha to Buffalo, priority. I had a package shipped priority TO me from. Buffalo after I had sent mine. I got my package, and the one I sent arrived a week later. TWO WEEKS for a priority package!
Nice!... I used to have a Crosley 515 years ago... had it for a long time too. That one you have there looks beautiful. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing your future coverage on it. :-) Bummer about your probs with the mail... well, keep strong ... It's good the lady is working with you.
I've always liked the first class mail system. For letters and bills, nothing even comes close. But for packages, USPS was always more expensive than other carriers, especially for heavy packages.
My last USPS package sat in Kansas City for a week after the expected delivery date, then at last showed on its way to my city, then showed delivered but wasn't, then after hours on the phone discovered that it was delivered to the wrong address due to new personnel but they were going to try to recover it, then nothing for a week so I got a refund from the seller, then the person they delivered it to (who lived 2 miles away) dropped it off themselves. (BTW, over the past 10 years fully 20% of USPS packages and items I KNEW were coming were either mis-delivered or lost, so this is par for the course here and has nothing to do with the new Postmaster General. UPS has a 100% success rate and Fedex about 98% rate for hundreds if not thousands of shipments to me over the same period of time.)
I bought a radio on ebay a long time ago, I waited and waited on it to show up but nothing. Then almost 1-year later it shows up, box smashed, holes in the box with radio chips falling out like confetti.
I used to ship only with USPS, but now I am using FedEx. I ship all my stuff to survive a throw, so far no broken packages when I've shipped. Though I've gotten a lot of broken packages from FedEx, but like you said, they are poorly packaged. So I don't even think it's FedEx's fault. Box has no packing material, they crush easily when nothing there when they stack a few things on it.
I watched some RCA to F adapters bounce around Florida for a few days then tracking stopped at their Opa-Locka, FL facility before they finally arrived here in Minnesota just the other day, about 2 weeks later than they were supposed to be delivered. Earlier this year, I've been having my packages get delivered to neighbor's houses, one even delivered at a house with the same number, but a few blocks away... gets you nice and worked up when you receive the "order delivered" notification but it's not there...
@radiotvphononut I had to start talking about legal action to get my package. It had arrived and was marked for "delivery" and 5 days later still no package then it changed to "pick up at location" so I go down there and its not there it never was... it took another week for the driver to finally deliver the bloody package... it was "new" PC parts... I think the driver was trying to keep it.
I have had a package coming from Hebron Ky to Milan Indiana (about 30 miles). Worst case about 2 days. Now it's been 2 weeks no movement. USPS has been dropping the ball so much lately I hate to use them.
Even in New Zealand postage service the same crap problems and the run around an bull shit and no accountability , Gone are the days when Postage did there Job.
I won't vote by mail even though I live in Washington where vote by mail has been the norm for many years. But now the dems insist on vote by mail everywhere in the U.S. which in my opinion is a very bad idea, no security and inaccurate tallies. I will vote in person and so should everybody else if they want their vote to truly count. BTW, the new post master general has had his position for less than 90 days. Those changes you spoke about were already on the enacted long before he took over. The removal of official mail boxes and sorters has been going on more than 5 years because the advent of email and other ways of electronic communications which has lowered the volume for letters with the USPS dramatically. Nowadays, the USPS delivers more packages than ever in their history with online shopping and yes, I agree I've received radios in pieces courtesy of the USPS!
They've got a way of scanning things without actually having the item physically in front of them. If they ever scan something as "delivered" to you, but you didn't get it... pay the most attention to the "time" they scanned the delivery. It "should" coincide with when you "normally" receive your mail each day.
Have had good luck w/ the PO. Only exception is one small eBay purchase. Was supposed to have been delivered on July 7th, but has been, "in transit/arriving late" since the 11th. The seller got a load of runaround from them & just refunded me (didn't even ask him to).
I sold a record player on eBay,, over two weeks ago, from Florida to mn.... and it still hasn’t arrived to the buyer,,, it says the same thing yours does phononut,, in transit arriving late.....so now I have a upset buyer,,, and I can’t get paid till they receive the turntable....
Yup, dealing with an eBay seller who shipped a $339 item via the postal bums and same situation- except they failed to insure it so they’re going to end up eating this one. Contacted USPS support, local post office throws up their hands and blames COVID, Trump, the weather, etc but no package almost a month later. Forewarned is fairwarned, especially if you sell on eBay, you’ll lose a case even if you as a seller ship on time. Use FedEX or UPS with full insurance or gamble with USPS and get burned.
Yes I also must confirm you troubles with the USPS no longer a good way to receive or send packages. I Use UPS or Fed Ex for sending packages the tracking is 100 times better than the US Postal service.
The last package I used was fed ex smashers, the driver knocked the box out of the vehicle and it went under the wheel and got smashed, put on my door and walked away, called fed ex and it took them 3 weeks to get someone to come out to look at the parcel and another 6 week's to talk to the driver on the route and then 2 more weeks to get a check from them for the parcel that they destroyed
Those changes at the post office were in motion long before the current guy took over in July. Most involved downsizing since mail volume has steadily declined. Billing and payments done online, nobody writes letters any more - text and email. Post Office losing billions, even with their inflated rates. Conversely, or perversely, I have had nothing but problems with carriers at my local post office for the last few years. The ones they hire are so stupid they can't read instructions at my door to put oversize mail or packages behind the screen door or in a storage bench I placed right on my step. Instead they just leave it sticking out of the box or on the step, in the rain and snow. As for bills, I pay online - except for the water billing which is - of course - run by the local town government. Get a paper bill in the mail, write a paper check, affix a stamp and find a mail box. Ain't government Grand!
vote at the polling location is the best way (and should be the only way with a valid ID as well) to go. using mail to collect votes is a disaster waiting to happen (regardless of who is in charge). Absentee ballots are an option when poll booths are not going to work, a lot tighter at least with respect to fraud. Still gets mailed but at least there is a process that has to be done to get one and have signatures on record.
Things arriving late happens to me all the time too. Or sometimes broken. We can make jokes like "frag-il-e must be Italian" but it really is bad. One time something arrived so late I got a refund and the very next day it showed up and I had to work something out with the seller. I would say the USPS needs to be privatized so they don't get government money for doing a piss poor job, but Fedex and UPS have problems too so that probably wont help. It may help breed some healthy competition to be better services probably...
Post office the same it's like people are lacking in everything could it people to go back to the way things were 30 years ago were people were willing to help one another a time you went to the post office workers were glad to steep up, it's like covid- 19 is an excuse why others don't have to steep up or stores out of stock i told my local store steep up order supplies i was annoyed at them, Brain you're 100% right i agree it's time we be more accountable
If you use the USPS, insist on PRIORITY instead of ground. Also, FedEx ground is priced very reasonable they do an excellent job with their deliveries.
It's hard to believe that they used manufacture quality products in this nation and we had a postal service that was excellent and in my opinion the last president this country had was Eisenhower.
I've got a set of brake pads for my truck in limbo right now. Marked as delivered to my work on Monday which is great except I was 3 feet away from the door when the substitute delivery guy brought some other stuff in. I got the notification of delivery about 15 minutes after he left which did me no good. I talked to the regular guy the next day and he told me to talk to the seller?!? Am I supposed to expect the seller to keep sending me parts until one of them makes it to where it's supposed to? I have a claim open now and will see but I don't have high hopes as it's happened a few times in the past with about a 50% eventual delivery rate.
Wish politicians would stop messing with the post office. In 2006 the PO had a $2 billion surplus so of coarse the politicians had to get their hands on that money by mandating that the PO had to put asside retirement pention money for the workers to be hired over the following 75 yrs. Also limmited was what could be charged for postage so that the PO was doomed to fail because politicians want to privatize the PO.
Man,the USPS for me has been absurdly reliable . Sad that it 's so inconsistent. Father was a Postmaster in the town I grew up in, back in the early 70's. USPS should be one of those things that exists outside of bullshit politics.
My gripe: a bunch of mail carriers need to get their act cleaned up or hit the road. Many of them look like they haven't had a bath or cut their hair in a year or two and wear clothes that look like they have never been washed. Orders need to come down from above to every postmaster to police their employees!
I vote for whoever has the best chance to beat someone who’s likely to be elected, that I don’t want to see elected. Which means I vote for candidates I don’t like, usually more times than not.
Its strange that I don't generally have a problem with the post office and most troubles with FedEx.Guess it depends on where you are as to what kind of service you get.
FedEx has a really bad reputation for smashing packages. I thought it was a one time deal until I ordered a 22" monitor and it came in rattling like a baby's toy. Company replaced it and guess what? They had to issue me a full refund when I sent it back (at their expense again) because the FedEx system smashed it, too. Obviously, FedEx has many more than just this one driver. imgur.com/gallery/UHlUEpt
Postal and delivery services have been delayed in most countries around the world. It's due to the large increase in online buying due to the pandemic. They don't have the staff or facilities to cope with the increase in packages.
If that record player was shipped as tracked, then the USPS has zero excuse for not knowing exactly where it is at any point in time. (Shipping anything untracked these days is very unwise.)
Fed Ex has been good for anything I've had delivered to me. I guess I've been lucky because so far I've received everything in a timely matter so far from the USPS in regards to ordering online, ebay, etc. Sorry it had to happen to you. Hopefully it turns up. It'll be nice to see your video on the CLASSIC Crosley radio, looks like a nice one!
I have had issues lately with the mailing of media mail. They seem to send it close to where it is going then send it far away and then back. They are really stalling the media mail, using the excuse of the covid 19 situation. I will never use UPS again (United Parcel Smashers is correct) or give them a good word. They smashed my son's new $600 computer about 15 years ago, and never made good for it. The postal service is what it is. I have only ever lost one package that I sent (they covered it ) and got every thing that I ever purchased- some in bad shape due to poor packing. I will not give up on USPS. Yeah sometimes they are slow with poor service but they always come through. You are more impatient then I am. I usually do not care how long a package takes to get here-just as long as it gets here in one place. I give them a month before I start caring.
That happens to me too! I was expecting a 45 RPM RECORD from eBay. It was shipped from PA. It was almost here in IL, then it ended up back in PA! Made a complaint and got it 3 days later! I had CD's bounce around the country a couple times. Covid19 is just an excuse for their incompetence.
I love the Fiver, that's a great radio. And yeah, USPS is definitely hit/miss nowadays. I've also had very good luck with FedEx---whoever is running that show seems to know more than the postmaster general at USPS does
I’ve been driving on expired tags for 3 weeks. I paid online. Allegedly they’re in the mail, but the AZ MVD won’t give them out at their offices anymore. I haven’t been pulled over, but if I do hopefully the cop will understand when I show him a screenshot of my payment that I’ve done my part.
I'm glad that I make my mortgage payments electronically. God forbid I would send it from my house and it would have to get lost and maybe never get to the bank. Then a bank would want to foreclose on me probably within a couple of days of when the mortgage payment was supposed to be do. And I don't want to have to go through that.
That's too bad. So far I've never had any problems with the post office. I know two people who work for the post office and they don't like the new postmaster general at all.
Had issue with all the delivery outfits regardless of the initials . So far First Class and Priority get here quickly. As for Ballots, WA State eliminated Polling Places some time ago. But there a Drop Boxes that we use for the Ballots rather than USPS even though it's pre-paid. Weird thing is WA State said they SAVE $$$$ by this method..so still don't know what the USPS needed the $25 Billion. Just Congress playing games I think.
well let's hope the post office or whoever has the unit pays for otherwise someone going to buy it and get a hole load of mail and have nothing to do with it other then burn it or sread it as you can't open up other ppl's mail unless by mistate, then again if they have a unit, why don't they say were it is and you go featch it, seem better as at least then you can get it and see what condition its in broken or damaged or now in a storage unit damp cold or baking from the heat,
Sadly it's probably to late to go back to pre-cutback days. My mailman has told me stories and things they've been told from higher that I won't go into because it's to political. FedEx has been vetting worse too.
Trump's new postmaster ripped out sorting machines and blue mail boxes to slow down the Post Office. Your mail man now has a limited amount of time to sort the mail. Once his time is up, he must take what he's sorted and the rest of the mail must wait for the next day. It's to prevent overtime. He says it's to make it better, but when your package is sitting in a warehouse, you know it's more like sabotage. The voting ballots get slowed down too along with mailed medication, live animals, and food. The point is to prevent the mail-in ballots from arriving on time to be counted. It's crooked, but it goes much, much farther than ballots.
@@robertgaines-tulsa, that argument doesn't hold water anymore as the changes he has initiated won't take place until AFTER the election. One of his objectives was to put an end to forced overtime. The union workers would do just enough to keep from getting caught which would result in big backlogs of mail. Then they could claim they had to work overtime to get all of the work done that they SHOULD have done during normal hours. Their leaders keep placing the blame on the Covid-19 virus but that doesn't work, either, as the USPS service has been steadily going to crap for the last several years and just getting worse and worse. I think the unions have been po'd about the consolidation of sorting facilities and hiring of contract mail carriers for quite a while and they are deliberately slowing things down to try to force the rehiring of so much of the dead weight that was being carried by the USPS in the first place.
So far during this Covid situation only had one problem with a package that was minimally packed and was broken when it arrived. It was a digital frequency counter. Not really the USPS faulty here. Yes I got my money refunded to me but the hapless sender says he thought he packed it good. Hah! After taking all the plastic pieces and gluing them together you could plainly see his wrapping with one roll of bubble wrap worked but the sides were smashed in on both sides cracking the case where there was no bubble wrap. There is a clerk shortage due to hiring of mostly single mom's who didn't have child care in many states where they were shut down by dummy Democrat governors who don't understand that child care is an essential service! This caused time delays and still is a problem for USPS in some areas of the country but is now getting better. You could actually thank the new PMG for that and that he hired more carriers to cover the increase in package deliveries but now things seem to be going back to normal volumes due to the alternate shippers taking up the slack and delivering their stuff (UPS) instead of dumping them on USPS to deliver them!.
ok Sorry sir I work for the Post Office and I do agree with you on Reagan but the this whole thing lost in a warehouse that that's horse pucky holding back mail they are committing a federal offence its illegal to hold back mail and they wouldn't put it into a warehouse that post master would be fired on spot as a matter fact i could probably even bet she told you that to shift blame of her cheating you should contact postal inspector yourself number available online or phone book we are always behind delivery dates because most time we are full filling ups and fed ex deliveries and amazon also the same time we deliver our customers packages and mail .everyone may hate us but without us you'ld be just as mouthy about their service not worried because we're written into the constitution and we aren't going anywhere send me the tracking info ill help you find it next time
Not only does a certain someone not want us voting by mail, he isn’t too crazy about all our online shopping either ... so the idea of neither working out too well (as far as USPS is concerned) not only doesn’t surprise me but sounds downright designed. Have to wonder where all these undelivered goods packed in warehouses will eventually end up and who will profile from them? Let me take a guess ...
So go vote in person, nobody is stopping you. Another sock account with ZERO content, pedaling conspiracy theories from the D.N.C. The rest is just moronic, the biggest thieves of mail are porch pirates and U.S.P.S employees, and nobody cares about online shopping except state tax collectors. So who pays you guys the $.50 per comment, the D.N.C or the Chicoms, or am I repeating myself.
Yeah, I understand your frustration with the Post Office. I support the Post Office, by our elected officials don't. I'm voting for Biden to put someone else in there. Trump hasn't done a good job, so I'm giving Biden a go. I don't know how well that will go, but I do know when something doesn't work, you replace it. I'm also voting in person.
Robert Gaines , you might try working for the Democrat party, then. Your wife can get her hair done when all other's are forced to wait because everything is closed. Or, as in the case of the last administration when the government was shut down, the person claiming to be President (he was far worse than President Trump) had golf courses opened for him to play when nobody else could. Oh, and you won't even be held responsible for the bills you help pass, as in the AHCA, because you won't know what's in them until after they become law! There's PLENTY of dirt to be passed back and forth on BOTH sides of the aisle. Remember the bipartisan bill that Congress passed that granted them a $25,000 a year pay raise when the country was in a recession? And every year they keep giving themselves "bonuses" because they've "worked" so hard for the people? The members of Congress are all but totally immune to the Covid-19 virus because many of them, like Pelosi, have been dead for years but too stubborn to lie down and be buried!
If you think that voting for a corrupt candidate, with cognitive decline, who's V.P running mate (also corrupt) is funding bail for rioters, is a good idea, the latter is whom you will end up with eventually. Open borders, green new deal, Soviet style healthcare, more gun grabs, Iran deal 2.0, and Chicom approved, such a great platform! Don't forget the date, November, 4th!
I bet your package will arrive in a month. I've had that happen three times now and it took me 2 to 5 months to receive things but nothing has vanished

Causes problems for both buyers and sellers.
Hey shango,, do you know of anywhere in Florida that has a stash of tube type TV sets?? I would love to get a console tv from the late 60’s...
China and Japan are the ones that took a month to deliver after an item being shipped.
Sad smh
My grandfather's neighbor gave me a radio just like that in the '60s and I will never forget it now I have one similar to it and it needs work
I had a UPS Mouser package sitting in Carrollton TX for two weeks. Three weeks after shipment, I finally received it.
I deal with that exact place and it never gets better.
Likewise. 3 weeks for a tiny parcel.
Sadly, I must confirm your experience with the USPS. After DECADES of reliable, on-time delivery through hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, blizzards, and whatever else nature could throw at them, the USPS began falling apart in the last six months for me.

Now you now how the phrase "going postal" originated.
Where ever that box is stored, I'm sure that top men are working on it. Top Men.
That was the first thing I thought, too...
Storage facility = they lost it, straight up stole it, or misdelivered it.
Also, you can be sure that the recent degradtion at USPS is not the fault of the new Postmaster General. It's the usual union bureaucracy response to needed reforms: work slowdown and sabotage.
Bingo. The union doesn’t like management, and wants more money. Same old story.
Umm humm ...

I get stuff from china faster than in us
How can they get away with sitting packages on a shelf and decide they are likely never to be delivered? That's crazy.
Sounds like where I work.
That is a really nice looking radio. I can't wait to see it working.
TWO WEEKS for a priority package!
thanks fore all of your repairs
Most likely a postal worker stole it and is sitting in his basement
Nice!... I used to have a Crosley 515 years ago... had it for a long time too. That one you have there looks beautiful. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing your future coverage on it. :-)
Bummer about your probs with the mail... well, keep strong ...
Hey RTPN.....how about when you order something and the package tours the entire state then finally comes to you after 7 -14 days.
My favorite USPS story was a box that showed up on my doorstep empty with a note from USPS saying that the package was found empty.
It's now September 4th.

I'll +1 for FedEx. ~Jack, VEG
The last package I used was fed ex smashers, the driver knocked the box out of the vehicle and it went under the wheel and got smashed, put on my door and walked away, called fed ex and it took them 3 weeks to get someone to come out to look at the parcel and another 6 week's to talk to the driver on the route and then 2 more weeks to get a check from them for the parcel that they destroyed
i feel bad for the seller because she is now out money and she did indeed send the item.
Yes buddy I will also be marching to my polling place !! In person,,, and voting red all the way down the ballot!!! Trump 2020
St. Louis MO Post office screws up my deliveries often. They get bounced around the country before it gets to me. St. Louis is only 45 miles from me.
On July 26, 1775, the U.S. postal system is established by the Second Continental Congress, with Benjamin Franklin as its first postmaster general.
He’s probably spinning in his grave right now.
I have that exact model I will be rebuilding this winter
vote at the polling location is the best way (and should be the only way with a valid ID as well) to go. using mail to collect votes is a disaster waiting to happen (regardless of who is in charge). Absentee ballots are an option when poll booths are not going to work, a lot tighter at least with respect to fraud. Still gets mailed but at least there is a process that has to be done to get one and have signatures on record.
Hell, I had a package shipped from Minn., and it disappeared somewhere in Minneapolis.......
I love vintage radio especially with wooden cabinets...
Priority can take a week or more now. Usually, it’s just a few days, but once in a while it’s delayed.
Now you know why the USPS management was replaced.
Had 2 RV air conditioners cam
Come destroyed 3 weeks apart by ups 3 one by uf Holland not a single scratch
I'm in the UK and post here has been effected a bit to not to bad with amazon or UPS thou
If that record player was shipped as tracked, then the USPS has zero
excuse for not knowing exactly where it is at any point in time.
(Shipping anything untracked these days is very unwise.)
they are supposed to be on their own
Fed Ex has been good for anything I've had delivered to me.

Just be grateful that you don’t have to deal with the DMV right now. You’d have a freakin’ aneurism.
Wierdness is happening. I received a package a few days ago from USPS and tracking still says not delivered!
What kind of camera do you use?
Hahahaha!!!! That slogan in the title has me cracking up!
That's too bad. So far I've never had any problems with the post office. I know two people who work for the post office and they don't like the new postmaster general at all.
Look at the bright side: You don’t have to deal with the Canadian post office. 😮
Neither rain nor wind nor snow nor gloom of night...
Covid? well now that's really somethin' huh?
Mail in ballots? No, can't do that either.
Back in the Day...the P O and UPS used to be Good....Now Thay had people working for them...that donot Care!!! ☹️
This is the way the USPS has to run with Trump.
well let's hope the post office or whoever has the unit pays for otherwise someone going to buy it and get a hole load of mail and have nothing to do with it other then burn it or sread it as you can't open up other ppl's mail unless by mistate, then again if they have a unit, why don't they say were it is and you go featch it, seem better as at least then you can get it and see what condition its in broken or damaged or now in a storage unit damp cold or baking from the heat,
Sadly it's probably to late to go back to pre-cutback days. My mailman has told me stories and things they've been told from higher that I won't go into because it's to political.
FedEx has been vetting worse too.
Sitting in a Warehouse???? How is that legal? And how does that have to do with slowing down votes??? Nonsense!={
Right now your best bet is Fedex.
So far during this Covid situation only had one problem with a package that was minimally packed and was broken when
it arrived. It was a digital frequency counter. Not really the USPS faulty here. Yes I got my money refunded to me
but the hapless sender says he thought he packed it good. Hah! After taking all the plastic pieces and gluing them together
you could plainly see his wrapping with one roll of bubble wrap worked but the sides were smashed in on both sides
cracking the case where there was no bubble wrap. There is a clerk shortage due to hiring of mostly single mom's who
didn't have child care in many states where they were shut down by dummy Democrat governors who don't understand
that child care is an essential service! This caused time delays and still is a problem for USPS in some areas of the country
but is now getting better. You could actually thank the new PMG for that and that he hired more carriers to cover
the increase in package deliveries but now things seem to be going back to normal volumes due to the alternate shippers
taking up the slack and delivering their stuff (UPS) instead of dumping them on USPS to deliver them!.
Reagan 😝
just a sour grumpy old fart like me waiting for the usps
ok Sorry sir I work for the Post Office and I do agree with you on Reagan but the this whole thing lost in a warehouse that that's horse pucky holding back mail they are committing a federal offence its illegal to hold back mail and they wouldn't put it into a warehouse that post master would be fired on spot as a matter fact i could probably even bet she told you that to shift blame of her cheating you should contact postal inspector yourself number available online or phone book we are always behind delivery dates because most time we are full filling ups and fed ex deliveries and amazon also the same time we deliver our customers packages and mail .everyone may hate us but without us you'ld be just as mouthy about their service not worried because we're written into the constitution and we aren't going anywhere send me the tracking info ill help you find it next time
stop spreading gossip as fact hearsay should not be repeated
This post office thing STINKS like political brown shirting. Yes I said brown shirting. Where orange is just a light brown.
Robert Gaines
, you might try working for the Democrat party, then.
Robert.....please do us all a BIG ASS favor and don’t vote!! Don’t even think about it!! Please!!
