How do you keep bugs out? Do you make a screen? In the rain, how do you keep your windows down, but stop the rain from coming in? Seems like the paper would get very wet with condensation if you didn't have some windows down for ventilation.
For keeping windows open without bugs getting in, one thing I used a double layer sun screen mesh thing. It's cheap, emphasis on cheap, but as long as fits and holds up is effective for bugs especially if crack window. Likely not as effective if fully open window. Another thing for rain while windows cracked open a little is like weather guard or something. I have not bought yet but it basically covers the top part of your windows slightly from the outside. Even while driving it can keep water out. I say cracked because don't think it works for sideways rain.
I ended up getting my rear side and back windows tinted (just today, DIY), but lots of issues with this to include varied state laws and harder to see out window (especially at night, depending on tint light denial) are some issues. Also can still see through so would likely have to do this anyways. Cheap window tint is cheap, and can go very dark but due to the above this method wins.
