    Nice sir,
    Would you like to make a video on Matching technique like CC and ID?
    It would be more useful.

      if u understood the basic , u can do multiple pattern , it's not a big deal

    In the concept of Adding Dummies.... If suppose there is a big size of resistor, can we add a small and minimum sized dummies surrounding it ??
    If suppose for example, as you said in case of 10 number of 1K resistors, can we add dummies not like 1K, can we go with minumum size resistors ??

      ya we can ..

      sir if so like that if we use minium length dummy how it can save the original length dummy which means if we use same dummy then the if any effecrs r there then that will be protect resistor in better is int?

    Hi, Could you please make a vidoe on Capacitor matching?

    Should the dummies be touching the real resistors? Like if there is a 'gap' between a dummy block and a main block there will be the same etching variability for the main block?

      Resistor should be kept all round the active device's , should not merge with active terminal

    Sir when we are doing matching for resistors most of the persons will prefer interdigitation or in many pdf's they will say that use interdigitation for resistor matching & use common centroid for capacitor matching can you explain it why it would be like that only?

    • @analoglayout
      @analoglayout  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      resistor & capacitor matching have some rules , based on that we can go for CC & ID , matching method

    Hii
    Can you explain how dummies are useful in reducing process variations..
    Because each cell is an individual device and have different photoresists so thier process variations are different for each resistor... So how dummies help in matching here?

    • @analoglayout
      @analoglayout  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually in wet etching this problem will happen , but now we are doing dry etching , so corner devices will get affect from Lod , STI , wpe and also etching process variations , so dummy will prevent all those issues ......
