One of the best songs in the entire universe ! ❤❤❤
I am a poor man & sing Shankar's song in Nagpur. But this song made me a fan of *Marathi Krushna* .but why does he trouble Gopis? Are they his wives? But their age must be more than him, the Krushna.Real Krushna, please, explain to me.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This story is NOT a part of Bhagavatam. It's a folk story about Krishna Leela. It has a figurative meaning. The story goes that the Gopikas had become too proud of their bodily beauty and used to spend hours cleaning and beautifying. Krishna thr' this Leela teaches them the lesson that it was HIM that they should surrender to and not their own bodily beauty. In many stories about Krishna he can be seen figuratively representing the inner core, "the bramhma chaitanya" (the very essence of life) that resides inside us. And here too it's the same. The "Krishna" here is the inner self of a human that is telling us to shed all the worldly pretences and approach him with a naked honesty about our self. Then only the two can merge and the a person becomes one with the chaitanya. He is telling us all here that the body is meaningless. It's the inner chaitanya to which we need to surrender. Remember that Krishna was the only "complete man" (poorna purush) according to Hindu scriptures. So in front of him, we are all his gopikas who need to face him bare naked (meaning leaving every pretention behind) if we want to be one with him... That's the real meaning of this story.
