    I work at a Volkswagen and Mazda dealership and I’d say it’s pretty hard to get a hold of a Mazda3. We’ve only gotten a handful in the past few months.
    If you want a car that’s easy to find, try looking for a Volkswagen Tiguan. Every lot will have at least 5.

    I really appreciate the fact that you talk about reliability as well as the more commons issues for each models. Very few car reviewers do that.

    Great job mixing it up! One vehicle surprised me - the Ram 1500. Beautiful well appointed trucks, but they are known to rust very quickly - or have they improved?

    • @ECPP
      @ECPP  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well said! Yes rust has been an issue on these trucks and are likely still a bit of an issue,. Southern states do not see these issues, but Canada, oh yea.

    Not on your list (or mine) as these are all ICE, but I just asked an older couple in the grocery store PL how they like their new VW ID.4. They said they needed a new car and weren't looking for an EV, but they walked into the nearby dealership, and there it was ready to buy & drive. No idea how much they paid, and perhaps their lifestyle is well-suited to EV charging, but they said they've had no problems and love it. So something to think about as an option, and though I'm not looking for another car now myself (EV or no), this one has clean lines, int. & ext. look elegant & simple.

    I am looking at the XT5 and the RX 350. I like them both but know Lexus is more reliable than Cadillac. What I haven't decided on is this: I can only afford around 30K so it looks like, from all my research on my local car lots, that I can get a 2019 XT5 but only a 2017 RX 350 and they usually have kinda high mileage. Unfortunately with gas prices at $6.39/ gallon in Scottsdale, AZ , small compact cars are the way to go. Ditched my 2020 M4 Competition for a gas frugal 2022 330i which has been returning 40 mpg on the highway. Wife traded in her 2021 BMW X4M Competition gas guzzler for a 2021 Mercedes C300 coupe.
