Strangely enough, I wouldn’t normally watch something like this for so long but these podcasts are really good and keep us interested. Matt is a very good interviewer. Keep them coming.
Never been a match fisherman but listened to every one. Format is focused on individuals personalities and life stories with fishing thrown in. Much better than some carp podcasts when it's more focused on the fish than the guy catching them. Keep up the good work.
Definitely the longer pod casts are the best. It’s great listening or watching the great anglers you have on. Great work as always guys keep up the great work.
What a great podcast, don’t know him personally but you can tell he’s an intelligent thinker, comes across well and humble. More in tune to the average person.
Only 9 minutes in but to answer the question - I like long podcasts for the biographical interviews - Cover their whole life / fishing story. But I also like the short informative podcasts with the repeat guests like Steve Ringer, Andy Bennett and other Guru team members where they cover specific tackle, rigs or details behind individual recent matches.
Ref weighing in! the final of the UK champs at Barston they were holding the scales no tripod and the needle was bouncing all over the place! Absolute joke in such a prestigious event🤦♂️
Alan Scotthorne, John Mills (the average angler), may potter, Rob swann, Brad lucas, Gary Rogers they would make awesome podcasts Keep it up Matt and Toby 🧡
Well done Dave winning the Fisho final, you worked really hard to keep fish coming. Touching on weighing in, when we fish our local matches we use the flexible plastic coated matrerial weight buckets they dont lose water we zero them before every weigh i would think the angling trust lads on the fisho final should use these instead of the mesh nets as they lose water while the fish are being weighed i think thats why there was a big diffrence in the weights afterwards. If those nets were checked after they wouldnt be at zero.
I’ve found from fishing the canal match circuit around Birmingham and the Black Country that the winning peg is usually always in the hands of the organizer until he gives it to himself at the back end of the draw .
Great podcast with a class angler, well done on fisho win dave. I still remember when u did me by a pound at partridge lakes in fisho qualifier,I'm still kicking myself over it now 😂
Well done Dave! Is that the same Ryan Lidgard from Brigg/scunny? Longer podcasts please lads I've got a 11 hour drive to a match in Mildura, Vic in the new year😅
Long ones lads, listen to them in the car whilst running the boy to his fishing matches (usually 1hr + in the car) and it’s loads better than listening to him prattle on 😂
Need to get Dave Berrows on he’s got some great stories. Don’t think the podcast has had an absolute canal master yet. Or Jason Cunningham one if not the best current canal angler in the country. And 100% stick with the long podcasts you get a real insight and story into the individuals life and journey then 👍👍👍👍🎣
Jeez he sounds like he needs therapy after that FishOmania performance with the weigh-in stress 😂 Analogue scales & and long form podcasts every time 🙏✨️
long 1s are so much better, personally I think Mat is the best fishing podcast interviewer by long mile.... such passion for the sport
Wow! 🙏 Thank you, glad you enjoy the shows! 🎧

Absolutely! Great angler and what a final to have watched! 😮
Awesome podcast, thank you very much. Really enjoyed this.❤🎣🎣🎣🎣

I watched fisho the weigh in was shambolic but credit to Dave, he was a legitimate winner and conducted himself well in terrible circumstances
Great podcast with a class angler, well done on fisho win dave.
I still remember when u did me by a pound at partridge lakes in fisho qualifier,I'm still kicking myself over it now 😂
Great interview, decent guy who deserved the win
Well done Dave! Is that the same Ryan Lidgard from Brigg/scunny?
Longer podcasts please lads I've got a 11 hour drive to a match in Mildura, Vic in the new year😅
Longer, can go more in depth and fully explore ideas and experiences. Makes for great listening.
Long ones and Van Schendel back for more!
Great podcast Dave & congratulations on winning fisho you will need to apologise to your family for swearing naughty daddy, love the long podcasts
Long 1s for sure! If your favourite angler comes on the show for 1 hour I’d feel I would want more cause they might not come back on the pod cast
Nice to see a decent family man do well.
Longer the better 👍
Well done champ well deserved top lad also 👏
best hair colour ever ❤
Longer the better. Be interested to hear more European anglers such as Milo or Tamas?
Longer the better
Jamie was second in Maver final from 51 area, not 45!😂🙈
awesome iam deffo a 1st to draw guy
Ask any match angler be it club or a professional fisherman have you ever been done on the scales ,,I would bet everyone would say yes 😮
I wouldn’t.
The longer the better
well done dave.. fair play sir. and matt your the joe rogan of fishing podcasts. slide on brother
If you tilt clock scales one they will show a less weight one way and more the other this used to happen years ago so they brought in the tripods
point 2 f1 shallow tight lines or wet nets.
Long ones lads, listen to them in the car whilst running the boy to his fishing matches (usually 1hr + in the car) and it’s loads better than listening to him prattle on 😂
