THe fight's end shows that Kanoh is not just a brute monster, but he is a skilled fighter with respect for his opponents. It's a nice contrast to how he is presented visually, which makes him just so much better as a design

I've seen people say Yujiro > Kanoh
But Yujiro is nowhere near as respectable as Kanoh is. Kanoh isn't just brute force, he's got a lot of skill and it really shows. Gotta say I love his design and personality, it's so fitting for someone called The Fang of Metsudo

I love this fight so much in the manga and wished it went on a bit longer.
Cause it really shows that the Fang of Metsudo is reachable hell later on he had to use Okubos technique to beat Gaolang.
