The thing I really like about Kengan Ashura is how the vast majority of the fighters don't have real anymosity thowards each other and and are always very friendly and respectful outside the ring. It really captures what the mentality of martial arts practitioners should be.
Kaneda is honestly my favorite character. I think it's such a fresh idea to have a character who just struggles, and knows they're weak, but doesn't give up. He's like Tien if Tien was allowed to be a good character.
The funny thing is, Gaolang is actually a good match for Kaneda. He's a public fighter so his moves are televised publicly. Kaneda's Foresight allows him to predict his opponent's moves up to 10 or 11 moves. He even studied Gaolang's fights before their match. The problem is, Gaolang is just *that* fast. He completely negates Kaneda's Foresight.
Poor kaneda, he has the will to be strong as everyone, but his medical contition and weak body only dragged him down and he cant even do something about it
@@doublen7135 it's manga. Kengan Omega, which hasn't been animated yet, is a sequel to Kengan Ashura. And the fight between Kaneda vs. Hatsumi that the OP mentioned was in later chapter, close to the latest chapter. (The manga is still ongoing.)
If kaneda was born with even a normal body not waek cuz his medical condition hed be a true force to be reconed with cuz his godly abilitie to foreshadowe his opponents moves

Can’t help but think Himuro would have put up a much better fight here. He’s much stronger than Kaneda, but the story wants to push the “even weak people can fight” angle.

Gaolang also has pre-initiative or whatever so he can out predict his predictions by making him predict the wrong….prediction…yeah 😅

The word you’re looking for is foresee, my friend. Fore*shadow* is an omen or hint, but fore*see* means to actively predict.
