Hello! I just started watching you, but I've been eating everything you put out up! Twin Travels sounds amazing! I am a twin, and I can already tell reading this will break my heart, but it sounds soo amazing! Keep writing and reading, I love all your stuff!
I know you might want to start querying right away, but I HIGHLY suggest you do at least one round with beta readers. I made the mistake of not doing that with my first book and I was worse off because of it, and I don't want you to make that same mistake. I know the idea of sharing your book with strangers is terrifying, but it really is necessary (or, at least, I feel like it is). At the very least, I hope you have a critique partner to bounce ideas off of (and if you don't, I'm in the market for one, lol!) No matter what you decide, though, I wish you the best of luck! Querying a book is both terrifying and exhilarating, and you'll learn a lot about yourself and your writing in the process 🙂
I love that you kind of show that no matter of your age if only you have determination and of course an idea you can write a book. I can't wait for them to be fully finished and published ❤️
Ohhh never thought of looking into those 30 seconds books for reference and learning new things. I have the 30 seconds of psychology because I love learning about the brain (also, yeah the brain is divided in two...four? section but no one is like only using the left or just the right one. we are using all the parts of the brain simultaneously... I can talk about neuroscience for hours that shit is super interesting.)

2019 seems to be the year for querying novels, lol, I'm planning to start querying at the end of January (or beginning of February, I'm not really a stickler for deadlines). And yeah, fantasy can be so hard to get a handle on. I'm on my third and just now feeling like I've got a handle on this book.

I support the twin travel story. Do not push yourself on work you wouldn't enjoy to write, that actually is super damaging more so than helpful.

for me, the only real book about writing craft and writing as a career is On Writing by stephen king, so id really recommend picking that up as well!
