The main gimmick of this board is that every 3 turns, Imposter Bowser changes 2 random spaces on the Bowser Byway into Bowser Spaces, but not the event spaces that change the Bowser Byway’s direction. On turn 24, he’ll make 1 last space on there a Bowser space. Sometimes though on this board, Imposter Bowser may ditch the Bowser roulette and straight up take a star from the player who landed on his space. Any coins or stars he steals goes into his vault. Whoever correctly guesses the code to the vault gets all the stolen goods.
Lol I guessed wrong with 6-6 the other day and got punished for it right after. Yoshi came along having guessed the code correctly twice prior but only getting coins, he put 7-1 and got 5 stars (4 of them mine) and about 300 coins from the vault, then another star too from passing the exchange in the same turn. I messed up bad, I should have started taking notice of the vault building up earlier or started more aggressively going for boo, because I had money and won the buddys twice in the course of the game, I was, 6-1-0-0 up with 13 turns to go but by time I started worrying about the vault, Yoshi also got cracking on it and stole my bounty. This game is amazing. I'm really impressed by the margin he beat them here, because wow, the amount of shenanigans that happens in such a short time. You can get a lot of star traps for cheap here, I had the most on the board in good positions, somehow I got them on all the safe spots on the bypass and a few on each side of the fork after the first kamek shop, but the CPU kept landing on their own ones or the bowser space, and bowser barely took any stars from them, but took 4 of mine. I'm going to try again and get my revenge.
