    Great video & knowledge as always, Cliff!
    Quick question - do you use surfactant in your SH pre-treatment and/or post-treatment for concrete? Or is it just SH + water?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks. I pretty much add the surfactant to my sh tank (the main tank that I use for downstreaming and soft wash system).. if I need additional soap when using the softwash system I have a separate soap tank that's hooked up to my proportioner.

    I just happen to run into your video because I need to clean my driveway. I love your videos and how you bring along people and teach them. I do have a question, what does down streaming mean and what cleaning solution do you use? Keep up the good work, Thanks.

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you brother. Downstreaming means pulling chemical through an injector (or downstream injector) it's called downstream because it's mounted after the pump. Upstream injector is before the pump (not recommended because the chemical will burn the pump seals up) the staple chemical for our industry is SH aka pool chlorine, shock, or bleach. We use the 12.5% but it comes in 10% and 5% we add a little surfactant to it so it's soapy and makes it stick to the surfaces.

    Anther great video. Thanks bro. How and why do you decide to down steam over soft wash? What’ makes you decide to go one way or another?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dowmstreaming is soft washing. It's all low pressure. Only difference with a dedicated soft wash system is you can dial different ratios. But personally I like downstreaming because it's less hoses to pull out.

    Greetings, from Houston, Tx.. did you lower the pressure when surface cleaning that pool area? Just a question for my knowledge for when I come across one as I did one before and I think I had pressure a little high

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I lowered it some cause of the older paint. We didn't have any chipping at all. Thats why it's good to do a walk around. If you see any paint missing then high pressure should be thought of twice

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash

      Yes. There's no batches needed. Just put your downstream tube right into the sh bucket or tank.

    Whata difference between downstream and using your softwash mix

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The dedicated softwash system allows to adjust your mix stronger. From 0-12.5% if needed. Downstream isn't built to change your ratios.

    I’m trying to get started in the business and don’t have a lot of money to drop. Had a thought about a 1700psi electric pressure washer running off a marine battery. Is this possible to do if I get an inverter for the marine battery? If so is it possible to show that build with a trickle charger attached to the battery at the same time?

Negativity has no room in my mind and I get back what I put out 10 fold. You should see that by watching this old video vs to where I am now. I had a small van to having a huge truck.
