The epilogue is still in animatic format so it's basically storyboards and not fully animated. The epilogue was supposed to be the episode 11 for this volume but was removed because of the budget cuts I mentioned previously. That epilogue would describe what the others were feeling in Vacuo while Team RWBY + Jaune were missing. Also there are the RWBY Volume 9 Beyond episodes. They are 4 episodes and very short but they take place in Vacuo. They are done in storybook style like the World of Remnant episodes. Also after the Epilogue and RWBy V9 Beyond episodes, there are the 2 Justice League X RWBY movies. The first of the two movies will seem confusing but the very end of the movie will show what the Twist is. And the second movie takes place after Volume 9. Oh some other things I forgot to mention from the previous episode, Summer Rose's weapon is called "Sundered Rose." And her promise was never explained but many theorize that it was about Summer promising to come back
