In Spain, we always have a different summer pop song for every year. It' s the tipical radio hit for the 'verbenas' dancing...😎But this summer was not the same, because the Deep Purple's "Pictures of home" , in your fantastic version, has been my personal summer song... But Gary Moore is more than I can express...guitar hero...personality...amazing composer...feeling of endless ecstasy in every guitar solo... Your intro, very simple and effective , well done. And the little solos you have put between the rhythm parts are fast-paced, perfects for the song, very good taste. And the rest... simply in your line: amazing feeling and technique. Congratulations and a lot of thanks for another fantastic work!!!
You're very welcome. Thank you for the kind words. Yes I added a few extra Gary licks in there. I think they worked! Gary had a lot of fire & passion in his playing and songwriting.
Gary Moore is much more then “the guy who owned the Greeny”. His tone was impeccable. A few years before, I thought he was just a blues guy with a marvelous guitar. But when I heard Wild Frontier, I was totally shocked. The guy was and is a legend. Heard he even broke his low E string in a solo, and that was really impressive.
Gary in my opinion is the most underrated player from the shred era he was a great songwriter and composer and pure emotion in every note he squeezed out of the wire and wood
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight Used to follow your old website, probably over 15 years ago, it's been sometime. Nice the see you on YT doing your thing. Sounds killer!
You're welcome bro!! You took the time and had the will to provide us with this new guitar cover so you totally deserve it! ✌️😑 And since your guitar skill level is way higher than mine, I'd say that sharing all these nice video covers on TH-cam is always well appreciated by other guitar lovers like me! 🎸💥 🎶
nice. Im a big Moore fan but im still pretty fuzzy on some of his albums. I mainly know Corridors of Power and Victims of the Future. Dunno if I ever heard this one before so I went and listened to it. Studio album seemed a bit overproduced with reverb etc to where it was a bit muddy and indistinct. At least I could hear your solo! lol

Funny about that low E. Gary was famous for using insanely thick string gauges

And a whole truckload of fury
This is the song of the mighty story & the best of the best of his songs that I think yet..
Thank you for your covering .
You Rock!Master version❤
Always look forward to your videos! This was another amazing cover, thank you!
Thank you for that Andrew.

you've got the tone Peter ! great rendition you've played !! Gary is the BOSS in the 80 era
Thank you Antoine. It's the brightest tone I've ever dialed in. Glad to hear it worked.
Gary estaria orgulloso de tu trabajo amigo 👏
Wild Frontier Please 12" version
This song gives your tremolo quite the workout! Great Cover as Always!
workout indeed ... I heard the on-camera room mic audio, it was just this big wall of mechanical spring noise from all the whammying.
Brilliant!
Great song!...Great cover!!!
Thank you. Yes, one his best.
Amazing job as always 👏👏👏. Greetings from Spain
Thank you very much
Another masterpiece as always. Love it.
Thanks.
Great to "see" you again Peter, it's been years. Great playing
Thanks. I can't exactly place your name I'm afraid ... I'm guessing transcription related?

Yes, I did this one bone dry to cut through. I do think it has some of his best songwriting.
Scorpions, Axel rudi pell, etc........
Why detuned? Is there a version other than from Wild Frontier?
I always tune 1/2 step down
Fair enough. Your ‘Run for Cover’ was std tuning, so I didn’t spot the new approach. It’s all good 👍
@@6120orange That's correct some earlier videos were standard, but it just became too much of a hassle in the end to have to retune constantly.
be careful with the Rat filter knob!!
Hehe indeed! The setting is from another solo
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight hey Peter i still have and enjoy the partita n1 CD, im glad you started this channel
@@felipe7th Awesome! Actually several of those Bach pieces are coming to my second YT channel. Cheers!
