Thank you Phillipa for sharing your hoof video! I have been making this way too complicated and you have shown me a much easier and better way! Thanks from Vermont USA
Hey Philippa hope your having a lovely Day. I’ve just finished my pug and I’ve called her Peony I’m so proud of her, so thanks for that! My sister is dyslexic and has always loved horses so I’m defo (when I’m confident) will do a pony for her. My wool for my next project the valais blacknose sheep has just arrived so very busy at the mo! Xx
Fantastic, love the name Peony, good luck with the Valais, I just love the curly locks, just had another commission for a Valais so trying to squeeze it in before Christmas. Horse are tricky getting the proportions right but practice really helped me, you kind of just have to do it! Speak soon and thanks for watching and commenting x
I have had issues with the end of the wire poking through the hooves . I tried making the wire part of the hoof so it almost created a horseshoe but that was really awkward. I have tried using masking tape at the end, making a loop, and wrapping the end with yarn. I was hoping to see how you prevented this and I am still mystified as to why your wire armature doesn't poke through.
You are really talented! I love your videos, they are so helpful! I'm new to needle felting and I was wondering how you would do a horse's star or any white marking?
Just add the white and reverse felt the edge to merge it in. Comb out the star with slightly longer pieces, thanks for watching and for your kind words x
Hi Phil, did you do the horse course?? I’d really love to have a go at horses, we have miniature ponies so they literally look like the pony baubles at the moment, they have been on way to much green grass so they will be entering the Jenny Craig paddock! Lol

Sorry it autocorrected to Phil! 🤦🏼♀️
No horse course yet, hopefully soon, everything just takes time. Hope the ponies slim down but it's good to keep warm in winter with! X
Is the horse course online cause i am from holland europe? and is it out yet?
No, not yet, haven't had time to do it but I will do it in next 6 weeks x
Does you ever use wax on the hooves ? Or something else? Thanks for many fun videos. ♥️
I quite often do fimo clay hooves, they look really good and are actually easier than felting them x
