I dreamed of seeing a live vocal of this song for five years, and what I got was more than I could’ve ever imagined. An incredible cover, and I know Tim enjoyed this up there just much as I did. I’ll sure miss him.

This is great ❤️ I think Avicii has always chosen less known, but insanely talented vocalists for his songs who never needed autotune to sound great... Aloe Blacc, Sandro Cavazza, Audra... It's one of the things I liked the most about him. ❤️

I read a swedish interview with him from 2013 where he said exactly that - that there were a shit ton of talented vocalists who are not superstars and that he preferred those types.

The thing I love about her performance here is how you can tell she's starting to struggle a bit by the middle of the song, but then gets a second wind and goes on to absolutely nail the rest. She's an amazing singer with an astoundingly powerful voice

This is actually really interesting, she's lost some of her vocal strength and had a few slip ups but first of all, this is a hard song, secondly, the original was around 7 years ago (at the time), and thirdly, the recorded version was most likely done over multiple takes with several breaks. The live renditions at the time were similar to the original but weaker.
Here however, her expertise shines brilliantly as she constantly adapts her technique based on what her voice can handle. Starting off soft was excellent in terms of preserving vocal strength, warming up, and also building anticipation for the highs. She then managed the 2nd verse with the louder voice we're used to. The one note where her voice seems to break at 2:03 (could have been intentional or emotional), she seemed to lose control for a moment but rather than continuing to the higher note in falsetto and straining her voice, she used a modest whispery voice and let herself recover, even kinda clearing her throat while singing "I---- couldn't live without you" at 2:09.
In the end, this is a great, emotional performance by an excellent singer, whose imperfections bring even more life to this song. And of course, behind this song we have Avicii, or Tim.
She has not lost anything..if anything she got better. She only sang this live once before (ultra Miami 2013 with avicii) and while it was a good performance by her,in this tribute concert it's just on another level..how she gets to the drop..just wow. Also here her voice is already tired from singing the previous song too.

Same here. Most likely on a smaller scale and possibly a classical orchestra, who does epic instrumental versions of his songs. Also perhaps churches who uses their clockworks to play his songs. All of this will possibly play on his birthday or on the anniversary of his death.
