Babar established a dynasty here. Whatever he took as income tax, he spent it back here. He and his future generations guided India to it's golden period.
Mohd Ghazni and Ghori are looters. They looted and took the loot back to Kabul.
Now, however we try to change history, it's not going to happen.

Had I been able to meet the Good Maharaja when he still lived, I'd kiss his feet in gratitude for what he did for my people. He had done the most compassionate and generous thing I can imagine - rescued and provided for the homeless, destitute and orphaned innocents. There are no words to express my love and respect for him. His example and of others who came to help to my countrymen once, inspired me to bring help, although my means are much more limited than those of the Maharaja, to reach out to some of the people who had fled Ukraine in 2022 after Russia's full scale invasion began. We, Poles, have a great debt of gratitude for the help that was given to our civilians before, and I believe the best way to try to pay it back, is to help those who had found themselves in a similar situation.

Nemaste, what a beautiful video and a priceless piece of unique history.
Roopa Bapu, you are a truly kind hearted and compassionate man, as were all those Indian folk who helped these children in their desperate times of trouble. Maharaja Bapu your words bore fruit eventually for the Polish who now can enjoy the freedoms without Soviet oppression, you were a good, good man , I wish there were more people like these lovely Indians who opened up their hearts and homes to share and protect those in need.
Wieslaw you make a very good " presenter" in this video, sto lat to you, you too look like a good man. May you all stay blessed. Thank you Bapu.
...and thanks for posting this video, it is wonderful.

I wish that India was independent back then and could have taken in tens of thousands more Polish refugees and given them a home till their country was safe again. I have read the novel 'Poland' by James Mitchener and am fascinated by their culture and history. Very similar to our history in India, constantly invaded by outsiders.
Also very saddened that this beautiful piece of history is not taught in Indian schools and very few Indians are aware of this. Jam Saheb's kindness and generosity is a lesson for each one of us. He must've been such a beautiful and kind soul!

This mans love and humanity made him take in and care for children from a remote land based on love not bigotry as we see happily displayed by our modern leaders.
