This format and Landon were made for each other. He really knows the game and is able to describe a node in a holistic way that isn’t just indexed to his specific hand. He describes meta-factors that incentivize his strategy rather than just saying, “Don’t really know what to do here, so I’ll just bet,” or, “We’re going to be range betting this flop and sometimes barreling.” I respect the other players as professionals and as ambassadors for the game, but it’s hard for them to shine in this format when Landon is there too. 😂 mad props.

Absolutely correct. I stopped watching earlier shows because it seemed like a bunch of male elks bashing each other's antlers during mating season. "I know he's 3-betting light, so I'm cold 4-betting my K6s." Here the players acted as if they were trying to win money, not out-macho the other guys. Even Trevor Savage noted "For a guy who plays 100% of his hands to generate content, and plays PLO for a living, I'm really keeping myself between the rails. For a while longer, anyway."
I would love to see an interview with the dealer... what he thinks about all the commentary as he's dealing and how he sees the game. Also, I love how these players all start out super cautiously... great lesson for newer players.

Rampage is a winner in the games he plays. He would never play in this lineup every day. The fact that he’s willing to take a -EV spot purely for our entertainment is something you should totally respect him for. A lot of pros aren’t sitting cause they want to grind out every bit of ev they can.

I'm not usually a fan of Landon, but his skill set shines in this setting. He knows his stuff, and he loves to talk. He also likes you to know that he knows his stuff... real life leveling :)

Came here from the Rampage Video, a pretty interesting format. Poker is a social game and here you are stuck in your own head sitting around people. So many times it is said to have a plan and then here you are having to lay one out it must be such an alien feeling talking it through in the moment.
Stumbled upon this without knowing the context of why they were talking and all wearing headphones. When Marle started talking I thought this was all a bit! Hahah
Are the headphones playing white noise? Noise cancellation can't block out speech. It looks like some are just listening to music which could let a few words slip by occasionally.

I can say a bunch of things man! Terrific production. You guys can make a chain of S4Y 'schools' like how Caro has, or, expand on these kinds of shows where teams compete at varying stakes. This can get to Esports recognition level, I think.

Landon is my favorite but rampage is a very close second. Talk about 2 ends of the spectrum....you got Landon the child of the sim and rampage the child of the bluff all in. 😎
Maybe introduce an ante , got to get some action going , i love it anyway because its about thought process but i just think with an ante it would make that better too,as yoh would have more turn and river situations which would make the preflop, flop spots more intricate and nuanced by default.
