Thank you all so much for the love and support of this project. New Episode PREMIERES every Tuesday, 4 PM PT
landon's commentary is epic. it's extremely thoughtful how he starts his analysis at the 30,000ft level speaking about the theoretical scenario and what ranges should do in this spot, and then boiling it down to how he would segment his range, and then where his hand fits in that range. more landon
Crazy how on point Landon is. Really impressive
Yeah I only heard of him a few weeks ago. He’s pretty special.
This is cool, as a recreational player working on taking the game more seriously this series is a great way to start diving deeper into poker strategy
I like Landon around the 8:00 mark. Really spelling out why flatting from anywhere but the Button or big blind can be a dicey proposition. He has Trevor’s range pegged, so he’s going to be making a ton of 3 bets knowing that Trevor is just going to have to fold a lot.
this 100%, people can attack by squeezing with any 2 broadways profitably as long as their opponents have zero traps.
I LOVE hearing the thought process! Betting is supposed to tell a story, and I’m amazed at the depth of the player’s understanding of what is being “said”.
Love the series! By the way. 10:50 dealer FALLING ASLEEP 😂😂
Anyone else find it hilarious hearing ethan think out loud? Sounds like hes lost hahah respect the fact that hes playing in this lineup though
He is just super nervous
The best poker show available! Love this format. Poker out loud is so unique and instructive. It’s such a powerful learning tool being able to get inside the heads of great players. Keep it up!
Loved watching Trevor and Marle duke it out. Both of them have some keen insight.
Spicy last hand there. Great commentary from all. Can't wait for to see the next one. Thanks again guys for the awesome content!
nice to see Trevor finally get in the mix, and always a pleasure to listen to Landon
Would love to see Ryan DePaulo, and Jeff boski in one of these vlogger sessions. Now that would be a crowd pleaser!
Love them both but Ryan doesn't really do in depth analysis. He's more of a luckbox lol, and Boski rarely plays cash.
@DubStylee
Ok, so I guess that pretty much settles it then, seeing as though you’re in the inner sanctum.
Ryan would just spend his talk time calling people mushes and jamming 4s
I absolutely love this this helps me think about poker in a whole new light.
so pumped for every episode of this got really excited when i saw this uploaded
Best poker content out there atm. Keep em coming!!
"Folding is boring" is the new "I don't even fold my laundry" :D
Love this format. Feels to me like an entertaining study session...
Landon confirmed waiting in the weeds
Great concept, great intro and fantastic production - love it. This might come off as arrogant or negative, but thats not my intension at all; It's a bit fun to see the comments from the recs that get's impressed by "how deep the thought processes" goes in this game. Apart from Landon and Jhonny, I doubt the rest would be winning players at 50z +. But that just proves how amazing the value is still in the live arena. Also, kudos to Marley - looks like she's come a long way with her own game.
Trevor got selected to play 6max vs pluribus in the Carnegie melon study so yea he can beat 50z.
I win at 50nlz and I am very confident Trevor would crush it
I thought I was aight at poker... Then I listen to Landon and realize I'm a bit lazy while playing.
same
MORE HANDS, WE NEED MORE HANDS!!!
Preach!
I agree. but I am sure it's not easy to accomplish.
Love it guys. More Conrad!
Fantastic idea. Great series with these players
I really love this show. It's funny how often players are thinking the exact same thing.
Surprised Matt didn’t take down that last hand. 43s just has such great equity driven qualities.
😂😂😂😂
It would be very fun to watch a live stream of the entire process of this at some point.
UTG folds: "This ain't aces"😂
Another great episode!
players are getting more comfortable. game is getting more entertaining.
I would love to see this talk through concept at my local 2/2 game 😅
😂😂
Invite Alec Torelli next episode for some in depth analysis on hide and seek
What year is this
why u think about him? u jealous?
@@guccimane7348 jealous of an angleshooting clown?
we need alec trollelli and vanessa selbst
Don't understand why you'd want Torelli, he'd destroy this line up.
Great. S4y is becoming the catalyst to making our opponents tougher. On a side note, POL will make bad beat story makers more entertaining at explaining their thinking. 😄👍
New Landon follower here!
IT would be really cool if you guys added preflop ranges in all situations... and maybe what their ranges should look like in real time. I know it would take a lot of time but man would that be dope!
And this is why “fold pre” is usually not the wrong answer.
Marle has gotten so much better in the last year or so, I remember watching one of her early vlogs and kind of cringing at the simplicity of analysis, now she sounds like she’s better than me lol
she's just pretending she knows what shes talking about. ''JJ7 favours my range on the but'' i think is one of the dumbest unnecessary statements to say. Saying that, im still thrilled she is in the show. A little eye candy at the poker table is always well received because it is so rare.
@@paulicas1 It's always reasonable to identify who the board texture favors, literally every thinking player does this. It allows for making better post-flop decisions, it's not an unnecessary statement at all. Perhaps a dumb and unnecessary statement would be degradingly describing Marle as "eye candy."
@@paulicas1 Seriously dude, you're doing the world zero favors by referring to a solid, winning poker player as nothing more than "eye candy". Reevaluate yourself and how you view women, because I guarantee she would crush you any day.
@@zanderbastedo8914 i would let her crush me any time of the day but not at the poker table :) Im pretty sure i would come out victorious if we ever battled heads up, although it would be close.
She sounds better but it's still gibberish if you analyse it: "This board smashes my button-flat range" on a 3JJr board.
Ryan DePaulo would be amazing on this
Agreed. Hopefully he'll be in the next one!!
@@SolveForWhy fingers crossed!
Action Matt 😆
Would be great to see the pros go over this with their own commentary
Cool intro song.
This is my favorite poker content! I would love it if I could subscribe to just this show....
What is that value bet on the river with JJ from Trevor?
Most hands that have him beat will bet the river after he checks back turn. I like the thin value.
@@pokerbruh From what are you getting value exactly? There is literally not a single hand.
@@DD-vc7fq blind vs blind ranges are very wide at high levels. It’s close. I’ve seen Trevor’s graph, I wouldn’t doubt him.
@@anthonylattanze8149 So based on his graph, you conclude that everything he decides in a poker game is correct?
Blind vs blind ranges are very wide even in lower levels, so not really sure what your point is there. Also, that has nothing to do with that particular hand. That river bet is 100% wrong. If you want to prove me wrong, name me the actual value hand Trevor is getting value from.
@@DD-vc7fq It's very thin. It performs best if I think my opponent is capable of trying to figure out what hands he should be turning into bluffs on the river. This is going to be mostly hands like T9 and Q9 and maybe some 98. JT (which I heavily block) and QT have to make decisions on what to do versus this sizing and decide whether they need to call or bluff raise. So its a bet that performs best against capable opponents who we can induce to make check raise bluffs in spots where they don't have a ton of value to check raise either. Additionally this bet allows me to bluff for a cheap sizing when I have my complete air hands that opted to bet/check/bet. Those hands are targeting the weakest parts of his range like pocket pairs and the 9x holdings. I certainly wouldn't view it as a mandatory bet, it's debatable and against opponents that have zero check raise as a bluff abilities on the river it may be too thin - the thing is opponents who have zero check raise bluffs also tend to be the same opponent who shrug and call with 33 on this board when there is a lot of money out there.
Literally this game was playing so tight Trevor was thinking bout a cold 3 bet w. Lookin at one card lol 😂 “ when u play w. Solid players” slight shade at Boston billiards lol, and u got a bracelet. I wish there were more bluffs need Ryano or boski get some degens in their always loved the way marle played and has played this session. Is this click bait? . I thought this was Phil helmuth poker OUT LOUD! Just playin ! Enjoyed it
it took me like 5 mins to notice his shirt didn't say Not Hung
🔥🔥🔥
Another awesome upload guys... Please select me for poker coaching I want to rumble with you guys
The dealer is like 👀
Rampage can only get stronger on his play analysis.
Cool background music.
Matt always looks like he finds something funny lol
looks like you do as well judging by your username
what? I'm pretty sure that when someone has noise cancelation with no music you can still hear what is going on in an otherwise quite room. noise cancelation only really works on continuous noise of a specific frequencies
they have both music and noise cancellation, I'm pretty sure.
Solve4Why please clarify
@@DougieBarclay Johnny said he might not want to listen to music
Agreed, I’m assuming Johnny is going to realize this very quickly and turn on some sort of ambient noise on TH-cam or some type of instrumental music
@@DougieBarclay this was in reference to johnny saying he plans to not listen to music. I'm sure that he did listen to music but it was never clarified. don't think it was like angle shooting or anything just was wondering if s4y ever clarified this
I think on that last hand going small as a river bluff was a mistake. I think if Matt examines what range of hands he would 3-bet the UTG opener with and then triple barrel for value he'll see that it's a lot of very nutted hands on this texture. Additionally some of these hands like AA and QQ should be exclusive to Matt's range. Landon is a thinking player and I think he would be capable of folding hands as strong as Jx to a river overbet and Matt really doesn't have many triple barrel bluffs in this spot. He needs to let it rip.
Ugh now I have to start watching Trevor's vlogs too... quit making me get stuck on youtube for hours on end!
I really want to hear Berkeys analysis about the JJ value ownage vs A8 on KK9A10 board. Please give us that
Both played it fine. I think in general Matt should prob be blocking river and Trevor just calling. Trevor's sizing for value is perfectly fine, targeting a 9.
I put some more in depth analysis on the hand a few posts up in response to a comment if you want to check it out.
that wasn't really as bad as it looks. if you aren't looking for spots like this without the nuts to go for value you prob aren't value betting thin enough.
The Mark Zuckerberg of poker is awesome
You guys need to start with some flips or something to get them loosened up
I did what I could with the 43cc.
Landon is insane. I want to know where he studied
s4y...PD (nick howard)....I think on a podcast he mentioned being on a text study group with lucky chewy, nick shulman, etc....Joe Ingram....Polk....Even rampage poker has helped him a bit. He's standing on the shoulders of giants
some people are just naturals...
Invite Phil Hellmuth.
"well you know these kids think they know everything, but they don't have an answer for my white magic." **Proceeds to open AA 10x and win the blinds.
😂😂
We neeeeed @ryan depaulo on this if you do it again
And boski.
Yea, landon is scary af. Anyone got a link to his content?
I’m assuming they aren’t able to hear each other can they?
I can’t stand it... this content is fire!
Total opposite play than the local card room.
These fish stand no chance against the bracelet winner RAMPAGE Poker.
5:06 the thought process should have ended at, "I really don't know how to play"
Its totally a tell when someone opens without saying much, as matt points out. surely you're relying on the honor system in this format. even if you can't hear what someone's saying, their faces when they discuss the hands are often telling. its also pretty easy to lip read lots of words like "ace - king" or "aces" or "pair" etc
So obvious that Ethan has no idea what he’s doing
He just started playing poker. He even states that he has no clue sometimes. Don’t need to hate.
Wow you are so intuitive. He only declared he is a new player on his channel 100 times. He is learning pretty fast.
Rampage is an absolute legend
He has great game selection and plays against very soft lineups. He has learned how to do well against those kind of lineups. He'll have to study ranges a lot more closely if he wants to win in tough games, but I don't see any reason why he isn't capable of it. Just depends if he wants to invest the intense effort required.
He's playing 4d chess and everyone else is playing checkers.
Something hot about Marle.
Cringe at the Matt guy at the end. Landon years ahead of him. Don't let yur ego get in the way
He didn't do too much wrong
lol you obviously didn't get the nuanced joke.
I love Landon - it's a joke amongst friends. I have incredible respect for Landon's game and would consider him to be ahead of me in this lineup in a 6max cash game format.
But yeah. My massive ego made me do it!!!!!!
How did this guy win a bracelet lol
Cuz poker is 70% luck
yikes Matt. boredom can really be worse than tilt.
Is anything not obvious to Marle?
PokerBeast would wreck you all 😅
The frequency of the Ads is very annoying! TH-cam thing?
I didn't see any
@@pokerbruh every 5 min for me.
honestly idk why marley plays
@27:19 Her analysis is so way off.
I guess they are playing looser than normal but that’s fine
Marle doing her best to look plain and boring looking but failing miserably
This look to fake for me I get what your trying to do here it just not working for me
Are they playing with their own money?
yes
Well it's a 5-10 game where the buy in is around $500-$1000. So I doubt any of these players could afford that. I'm pretty sure they're all staked.
Matt is the worst player of all the poker vloggers!!!
Lol Rampage folding A8s BTN vs SB 3bet. Wow just horrible.
Oops... my bad
Marle looks like 15 years older than pre pandemic...
Johnny vibes was reading lips. He is the only one putting his hands in front of his face when walking us through his thoughts. Cheater.
he gives me scummy vibes and just rubs me the wrong way for some reason... dunno
