Maybe for the guy who doesnt look good paint him in a way that looks like he's trying to pass off as a space marine? Maybe bro thinks he is the emperors angel
For the crossbow turned melta gun I'd square off the front, sand or knife scrape it until it's a square-ish box, then either add some small bits and bobs to build it up again or chop off a bottle or two from some radium rifles if you've got ad mech to spare.
Great vid as per usual. For the guy who you weren't such a fan of - you could paint the melta as if it is old/ secondhand, or even better - as if aspects of it are wooden. The crossbow and sprue glue parts could really lend themselves to this texture and a wooden meltagun would hint at a very interesting backstory/ provenance for the henchman himself. Maybe he comes from a less advanced world before he was recruited/ abducted into the kill team.
👍👍 6:34 prayer wheel, I think. Like Rosary/prayer beads. Each fidgety bit can represent a prayer or a set of prayers or whatever thoughts bring you comfort or focus. 100% works as a fidget, very tactile and grounding and the repetition can be very soothing 🙂 Team came out awesome 😃!
Funny thing you said that you don't know the lore behind Hexbane's Hunters. But you couldn't have picked a better kit to turn into 40K Inquisitors if you tried. Hexbane himself is a Witch Hunter, an Agent of the Order of Azyr, and the others are his entourage. The Order of Azyr is. . . To put it succinctly, the AoS equivalent to 40K's Inquisition. Like I said, you couldn't have picked a better kit if you tried.
I'd like to see you convert some Frostgrave Cultists into Chaos Cultists, maybe run them as a proxy for the Blooded Killteam Also imagine how funny it would to see Uncle Ruckus as a Chaos Cultist

Cool minis, but i´d recomend to use a hobby drill to make little holes in the hands and things like the chainsword. This will no only make a cleaner result but a stronger contact point
if I may suggest, drilling a small hole into closed fists and flat surfaces of weapons and using a paper clip as a pin will stop them from breaking off during games.
I just got home from stopping at my local warhammer store after work, with this set planning to the same thing only to see this pop up on TH-cam. I guess it was meant to be.
If you can find the necromunda hive scum 4 man squad for very cheap, they are about the same size and the right amount of minis to make the full 11 models. The arms mix and match pretty much perfectly between kits

It might be a little bit late, but if you really want a different way to do crossbow guy, maybe consider an Eldar Shuriken catapult? Inquisitors use tons of weird weapons, just make sure there's an I or a purity seal on it.

Awesome.I'm just working on my own kitbash of the inquisition kill team and necromunda redemptionists, inspired by coming across part 1 last week.
Meltagun guy could use a huge backpack. Maybe some asymmetrical goggles too....
Again nice results (mostly). Perhaps a chain bayonet from a 30K marine kit to cover the area under the meltagun barrel?

I did just about the exact same kitbash myself a few weeks ago! Super cool to see a different take on the same kit.
