- (9.17.18) ahhh!!! i love this! not only did kaycee finally take galen’s class but galen also paired them up for a performance! she made kaycee act as the female artist while sean be the backup dancer and she told sean to support and direct his energy towards kaycee while kaycee bounces off from sean’s energy and they just killed it!
I’ve always wanted Kaycee to take a Galen Hook’s class but her taking her class and THEN getting a duet with Sean. PRAISE THE LORD MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!!🙌🏾😭🔥

I can't get over this. There is something different about the energy between the two of them this time. Something I haven't experienced when watching them before.
@@gracebuschena3214 it could be that but galen gave them a bit of direction in this one so I think we're just seeing them portray roles they haven't really portrayed before. That's just my opinion anyway and kaycee is definitely more comfortable dancing with him now. How can she not be? They have spent so much more time together over the past year.
yesss there was something different i sensed from the Trust My Lonely video. I feel like Station, Trust My Lonely, and this performance gave off something different for me, in an amazing way.

From what I've seen online, Tim seems particularly fond of filming Sean, and it's his studio, so I'd expect it to make his page sometime soon. Plus, too many of us have been longing to see Sean and Kaycee in a Galen class and their names are all super click-worthy, so I wouldn't be too worried. :)

😂😂 I just noticed too! Based on earlier videos on this channel they would’ve seen each other pretty recently prior to this class at the Lab’s WOD viewing party on 9/12/18 so I guess they just love each other or maybe they didn’t get to greet each other at the beginning of class lol

Emily Kopp this part wasn’t filmed. this was a demonstration. I believe that during the video you can hear Galen telling Tim that she wants to start filming. I don’t know if they did an hd version of this. I guess there was no one to livestream it like he usually does.

I think she said something about instead of getting more intense, pull back a lil bit (?) Idk i only heard bits and pieces 🤷♀️

She said when the dance was getting quicker and more intense towards the end that they could see it in their faces and expression so she was just saying when it gets to that part to pull back a little then the live cut right after that so no one knows what else she said unfortunately.

I think what she meant by saying Sean's focus should defer to kacey, is that instead of his movements, momentum and energy pushing forwards (facing the mirror/camera only) it would instead slightly push towards kaycee and vice versa. Basically she wanted them to focus on each other not the viewer.
I think she was trying to show how a backup dancer should act with an artist. She told Sean to focus on Kaycee as if she were an artist and Kaycee to only use Sean to support her performance. Like, if a dancer is on stage with an artist, they should be supporting the artist and encouraging the audience to focus on the artist, not themselves as a dancer.

I didn't know the choreographer still tells them what to do before filming it.
That doesn't happen always, it was just in this instance that Galen wanted them to showcase something specific so she gave them directions
