43 Commando Royal Marines specialise in close combat warfare, protecting the UK's Nuclear Deterrent.

Yeah it's good stuff. If I were a young Brit with the goods I'd be tapping on the recruiting office door the morning after watching this. I'd be all, "Fook the army, where do I get me a green beret and a Gucci rifle! "

I'm an ex army medic, having worked with these boys while serving I can honestly tell you they're so much fun to be around and their ethic is insane! I tried to join the RM but got deferred on account of being too skinny to begin training :( Ah well, still had a great experience either way!
Deferred, not rejected? You can always start eating and training like hell if fitness is what got you
@@icantthinkofausername2605 they told me I could reapply in a year and tbh the clock was ticking down on not doing anything so I went into the army and ended up actually being more streamlined in my work within the medical field while learning qualifications to help me outside of the military.
That was more of a win for me because I learned that the RM would select who they felt would be a better candidate for whatever the specialist training that was up for offer and they only trained to team medic level so they weren’t able to transfer the skill outside of the military

I personally thank the marines for saving the children worldwide. I know that they take in a lot with there perception. I hope they seek the help that is needed from seeing the horrid conditions the children are in. Please make available counseling for those saving children. These marines go beyond there call of duty and sometimes commit suicide from what they have encountered deep in the tunnels. They come across cryptids and families told there family members that they didn't exists. These horrible creatures such as Werewolves, Dogman, Crawlers and Bigfoot are in the woods of North America and beyond. Keeping this information inside ones heart creates a inner dilemma and they are threatened by commanders to keep quiet. Many are told that they will never receive pension if they speak the truth about what they encountered. The experiences are very overwhelming and the marines need an outlet. One needs to be provided for each marine that encounters these cryptids. The suicide rate is very high amongst police offices, people that work for environmental protection, marines, navy, army and other military groups. As a nation these numbers of men dying from self inflicting behaviors need to go down. I care deeply for humanity.

Only thing that's stopping me applying is the thought that when i leave the marines at the end of my career and need another job i won't have any decent qualifications or trades. I'll only be able to say I'm an elite soldier, but no employers care. This makes me lean towards the army 🤔
@@travisbickle0526 Apply to the Navy, do your training stuff there ( medic, engineer whatever idk ) then ask to be deployed with the marines. Not guaranteed you'll be deployed but it's possible

@@lesflynn4455I was replying to the other guy. 40 cdo have got ops core kit, 45 commando are getting it, both are in the process of being issued the kac1 rifle. 42 commando already uses specialist kit and c8s and 43 commando uses what you see here. All RM units are issued with crye clothing. So saying you only get Gucci kit at 43 isnt true and within the next 6 months 43 is likely to have the least Gucci kit.
