No they are not Force Recon or SWCC crews are specialists units on their own. RMs are Amphibious heavy Infantry used for boarding vessel’s and seizing ground. They are equivalent to the USMC Infantry units.

No , The Royal Marines are not part of the Army they are part of the Royal navy, anyone that works with 3 Commando Brigade has to be Commando trained, they do the All Arms Commando Course.
