    Thanks for the video Steve. Sawmill Wash is on the N side of the Sheeps, much closer to Hwy 93. The road was drivable in the 70s, but nature has definitely reclaimed it.

    • @SBVegasAdventures
      @SBVegasAdventures  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes, I was told there was an old road all the way up into the mountains for the logging operation, thats how they got the trucks and equipment up there. I'm sure there is more up there waiting to be found, it's just so remote that it takes significant effort to get there.

    • @angeloangelojoseph1494
      @angeloangelojoseph1494 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Exactly. The road was in good shape 50 years ago, but it deteriorated in the 80s , especially past the tree line. I remember seeing many deer, and bighorn in the canyon, and l know people who've seen bobcat and mtn lion. That cool breeze you felt pass by you, was probably the spirit of Ute Perkins, the Sawmill owner, walking downhill right past you!

      If I was on the hike with you I would have a small bag and gathering cool pinecone twigs or rocks. I always collect pinecone from blues price or ponderosa or acorns or cool twigs . I love that stuff.

    Oh, so close. That may be my soda can you found. Haven’t been there since around 1965. Hoof prints are mule deer (probably, my eyes not so good anymore.). Desert Big Horns stay in areas where they can instantly go vertical. Yes, there are big cats in that area, but very rare. It’s a tuff environment for them to survive in.
    This place was one of my Dads secret places, and he was very odd about reveling “his places”, so in honor of him I can’t just give you the location. But I will give you a hint--old obsolete USGS maps are your friends. They can be downloaded from the internet. Remember, any location you derive has to be converted into whatever datum your mapping software uses. The old maps will probably be in NADS 27 and your software in a much newer one. There, I just gave a second hint.
    And quit being afraid of the outdoors. You are much safer there than in Vegas. I would be more worried of a coyote with rabies than anything else. Rabies are relatively common in Southern Nevada wildlife. I know, because I have lived here since early 1960.

    Another great video! ❤❤
    Love these hikes.
    But is that area actually silent? I mean surely the local animals and birds make sounds dont they? Birds do live out there dont they? Because as far as I know birds live almost everywhere. Because they say if the woods go totally silent of animal sounds that is when you really need to get out fast. Because it means some big nasty thing is in the area. The animals know....
    Are you carrying an Emergency Locator Beacon? I hope so. You really need one if you go on these lone hikes.
    I do long hikes too. Often do 14 miles. I dont know how old you are but I am 52. Doing something like 3 or 5 miles is a slow walk day for me.

    In 1989 I was camping overnight in the far north end of the sheep mtns.and I found a distinct Bigfoot track in the snow and it was very clearly Bigfoot. You are the first time that someone else found one. It would make sense with all the strange things out there.

    • @SBVegasAdventures
      @SBVegasAdventures  หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      There have been Bigfoot reports in most forested areas in America. I think the reason there are no reports up there is because it's extremely remote and so few people go there.

    • @SBVegasAdventures
      @SBVegasAdventures  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @Matthew-wn8oq I have long suspected that there could be Sasquatch in the area but there are no reports (that I know of) in Southern Nevada. Could be because the high mountain peaks are extremely remote and very few people if any go there.

    That sure does look like a sasquatch print. Just because there are no reports of them there just means the ones there do not tolerate human trespassers. I've been following the Kenny V saga since the beginning and in addition to all of your videos on the topic, I've seen probably seen over 30 others and have never thought about sasquatch being a factor. I had never even thought about them before until something brought them to my attention. I believe if they are out there that they are a flesh and blood creature but there are just so many stories of them being interdimensional meaning just one footprint or footprints ending nowhere. That breeze you felt where you look up and there is nothing. Especially that sense of foreboding. Not to get ahead of ourselves but this could totally explain what happened to Kenny!

As I watch your video and see lush Forrest with tall trees, I am comfortable thinking you were seeing a Bigfoot print earlier in the video. Acres of Forrest are perfect Bigfoot environment. Keep your eyes peeled when traveling through Forrest areas. You may be surprised at what you may see 👀

    Wow, there's some actual ponderosa pines up in those hills when you got high enough elevation. Very nice. If I lived in Las Vegas, I think I'd try to figure out a way to live out there and commute into town for work. Maybe if there was some kind of 4 wheel road near there. I wonder if the BLM /Forest Service moved it? You must have been nearby the truck. It's just hidden by the trees.

    Hi 👋🏻 SB I’ve been watching your videos,,,very interesting I had never heard of Kenny Veach,, what a mystery. I really enjoy your videos and no you don’t talk a lot you’re videos would be very boring if you didn’t add your knowledge of where you are and what you’re doing. I have a simple question and it may have been answered already I don’t know. What ever happened to Kenny’s phone? Does his family have it? Do the authorities have it? Was the information on his phone ever checked? Thanks SB keep putting out the great videos and be very careful out there.

    When you feel that forboding feeling it means its energies from ghost activity and death spirits or people buried . Because people woth violent deaths be it a lion attack or whatever. Their soul will leave an imprint in the form of energie. And any electronic item will start doing odd things.
