Playing on the dev server is a reminder that War Thunder is actually fun underneath all the soul-sucking grinding you have to do. Then it closes and it's back to the eternal flour mill that is the live server.
So, I have stopped the grind and started messing around with friends in meme vehicles at 7.0 That got me enough SL to buy into 7.3 lineup. So sometimes I get one shot in my top tank without even seeing any enemy, I start having lots of fun shooting light tanks with a m5a1, a m22 or even a m16. I know it's bad for the team but at least I had fun.

Outside of its nest, scared and defenceless, poor SPAA sees no other way but to commit lifen`t. Nature of War thunder can be cruel, but everyone is trying to do what necessary to survive in such harsh conditions.
Even funnier when you remind your self that wt doesn't calculate kinetic energy from shell impact. That tank should learn how to fly just from the fact it got hit by battleship shell

Lets do a little quick math here F=m.a F= 440KG X 2,420 ft/s doing a little conversion here and there That shell hit that tank with same amount force that 2 of those tankson that tiny spot on its armor, you think any WWII armor could withstand that amount of force? That overestimating Armored technology in the 40s too much. that tank would have blew open like a tin can

Kinda like A-6E is the only plane with laser guided bombs in US tree, and its premium for god knows what reason (I mean, we all know the reason is $$$). Literally no other plane in the US tree can compare with A-6E in efficiency when it comes to dispatching enemies from afar.
@@cat_clan_leader only on open large maps, otherwise the dead tanks + trees create so much clutter in thermals you won't be able to see anything. From 10km A-10A's Mavericks don't see anything in non-thermal vision either because they don't have massive zoom like Maverick-B does. Also on small maps, even if you do find a target the maverick may lock not on the target itself but the environment, so it won't actually track the target when it moves. A-6E has like 9 laser guided bombs it can lay down onto enemy's head from stratosphere with pinpoin accuracy due to high resolution aiming system with massive zoom, and thermals of course.
@@harryshuman9637 never really been a huge problem for me. I usually have a squad mate mark targets for me so I can know what glows are alive or not. The issue with the A-6 is that you can't really be as far from the target, more like high above due to it having free fall bombs. Competent SAMs can easily knock it out compared to an A-10 firing a missile from 8km and then immediately turning around to get away from any potential SAMs. But I do see your point, it's a very potent CAS platform. Fortunately we will be getting another LGB platform being the F-14B, but that's kind of high up.
