The house in Dennisport is huge. My late Aunt Alice and her husband had a simple cottage on Myrtle Rd. We went swimming of Sea Street. It had 2 bedrooms, living room/ kitchen and a bathroom. There was also a outdoor shower to rinse off the salt and sand. That was so long ago.
When I was a kid in West Dennis we would ride our bikes from Eliot Drive up a fire road to the fire station up on 28. No houses, just trees. Now no trees, just houses. And I learned to swim out the mouth of Swan Pond River.
