- A year and some ago, Demi called me on the phone and said that she was building a block of 12 flats somewhere in Lagos and asked if I’d be willing to tell the story of her journey as a 25-year old, female, real estate property developer. I said yes, and so our journey began. I don’t think either of us knew it would take this long to be completed but here, now, in 2024, we see that the timing is just perfect. I’m glad that I can finally share Demi’s story and hardwork with you 🫶🏽

When she said God put us in the families that we are for a reason, I really felt that. I was even thinking it before she said it. I’m into media and communications and my dad is also into that. My mum even studied mass communication. So it’s not just a coincidence that God is guiding me along that path aswell

This is the confirmation I needed. As a young girl, I’ve always seen myself venturing into real estate, even though I’m majoring in the medical field and I honestly am clueless on how to go about it.
I love that there’s a wheelchair ramp at 14:21, I love the inclusivity of it, it goes to show how well thought out this project was, individuals with mobility impairments can have access to the space. It’s exceptional.

Well done Demi...you see the depth in what you do. I pray more people even the labourers start to catch the purpose in the work they do. Imagine us not having to worry about buildings collapsing or a roof leaking, or termites coming out of the poorly covered tiles, or switches that are upside down and confuse people... just because people did their work diligently and with a sense of purpose and responsibility. I believe their lives too will be better. There's dignity in labour!
