I wish MTV would bring a channel called MTV Repeat or MTV Rerun, where they would only show the original shows and videos from the 80's and 90's. Shows like Club MTV, Yo! MTV Raps, Amour, The Lick, Remote Control, The Grind, PartyZone, 120 Minutes, Greatest Hits, Headbangers Ball, TRL, MTV's Most Wanted, Alternative Nation, old VMA's and EMA's etc etc. Also they should play original station ID's and old commercials inbetween the shows and videos.
they did have one no one watched it so its gone , it was called MTV Club Classic about four years ago just as your comment was posted it was cancelled after 3 months and is now MTV Reality or something
Great idea ... fling Remote Control in too the golden age of MTV when it was the soundtrack to our teenage yrs. I see only today they are rebranding Yo MTV Raps. Hope it works BUT back in the day it was the only place to get rap. .it's everywhere now. Anyway I am 46 White and from Kent England .I miss MTV when it meant MUSIC television.
This is crazy to watch now. I was a child or tween when this came out. No wonder I have always loved dancing. Soul train when I was little & Club MTV as I got older.
The Whispers! LA Reid and Babyface (producers) were coming of age during this time producing tracks for Bobby Brown, Karyn White, and Sheena Easton during the late 80s. This is back when MTV was fun. Loved to relive this time again.

I'm trying to find myself in the crowd. lol
It's funny that even back then I was complaining that MTV had strayed from just showing videos 24/7.
